At the end of Halo in Legendary, how does he make it off alive? I know he's on the escaping Pelican after the destruction of Halo, but come on! How did he do it? He was seen fighting toe to toe with an Elite, and then they hugged because they knew that they were both going to be decintegrated from the explosion. I doubt that a Pelican could find his location, race in, kill the elite, get him on board, and escape Halo in about 2 seconds.

Another thing: I was doing a little test. In The Truth and Reconciliation level in Halo, I had him die on me 5 times. He first got off the Pelican in the beginning of the mission, so I shot him in the head, to test out my theory. Eventually, I got more reinforcements (because the rest of them all died because I was in legendary) and what do ya know, we got more reinforcements. Well to make a long story short, we got 3 more batches of reinforcements, each time after 2 Sergeant Johnson called me a traitor and started shooting at me. Not the other marines, just him. Did he know that I killed him in his "past life"?

I know that he along with Master Chief, get regenerative abilities from the flood, but come on. That's a little too much. Oh well :)

The Legendary ending was not to be taken seriously, it was just for fun. C'mon, it violates one of the cardinal rules of the Halo universe - the Covenant would never try to use a human weapon, and yet the Elite is fighting over the assault rifle.

The fact that Johnson shot you in his 3rd life is pretty cool, I never knew that could happen. I wonder if it happens when you kill other "redeemable" Marines?

He's not fighting over the assault rifle, the assault rifle is merely a tool caught up in a struggle between the Sergeant and the Elite. I guess you're right. I should stop taking things so literally.

Try it. I wonder if Chipps Dubbo starts freaking out in his British Accent if you kill him 3 - 5 times...

Johnson doesn't get off the pelican with you on the T and R. He stays onboard until you need a new drop of marines, and then Sergeant Stacker may come out instead of him. Have you read the books? It explains everything there.

I also wonder about the regenerative abilities from the flood. I know if his arm is cut off by a plasma sword, he isn't going to go poof and have a new arm break out like they did in Dragonball Z like Piccolo did. (I apologize to use that as an example, but that was the only thing I ould think of at the time)

It would be cool to find him killed and then he gets up and is just fine the next time you battle at the same place. Or does the regenerative ability only work when you are alive? I don't know. NEED YOUR INPUT!!!!!

Yes, I have read the books, multiple times, in fact. I'm just talking about the game now and not the book. Because in the game, he died 5 times in one level if you play it right. Bungie really should have made more marines.

That would be interesting to actually SEE Sergeant Johnson get up from being dead. He always does it when we're not around. I might get freaked out and shoot him though.

Yeah, they should have.

I wonder if marines take in time damage like you do. I mean, it showed the bullet holes in the Mjolnir Mark VI armor. If you charged up two dual-wielding plasma pistols and shot them in the face with the super-bolt, would you see their 3rd degree burns? It's already rated M for gore, so why not put lots of gore in it? Not to the point that people are throwing up and crying, but it would give it a more realistic effect.

Er, no, there's no battle damage on characters in Halo 2, iirc.
