And the fact that there are 16 spartans (possible 32 if they can pull it off) in single player? no... These little facts are what tell you that Multiplayer has nothing to do with singleplayer or the storyline...
They just made that little speech up about the history of Zanzibar(sp?) so they could kindive explain what happened to it... It doesn't mean it has anything to single player...
I'd say if they wanted it to be more like singleplayer, the Elites wouldn't even be playable, since who says I'll attack the other team, maybe I'd rather like to team kill and be a might elite for other side...
No "Elite" would think like this, but you know some idiot will... Now does that sound very singleplayer to you?
But there MIGHT be more spartans in halo2. Im just saying what I've heard about the maps and there significance in the campaign mode. Elites vs. Spartans? It sounds more to-do-with-the-story than Spartans vs. Spartans. Im not saying that it has to do DIRECTLY with the story, I'm just saying it will be linked in some way.
This is what Ive merely heard so you might be right, I dont know, but from what Ive HEARD, the story has some impact over what multiplayer is like...
