What happened to the intelligence in this forum? Since Halo 3 came out, people act like Halo 2 was just as good as Halo 1. When Halo 2 was out, everyone thought it sucked in comparison. You can see the hypocrisy right there.
If Halo 3 is so watered down, why does Halo 2 have such high auto aim and long lunge? That's really casual to me, Halo 3 isn't like that. Your all killin' me, kinda makin' me sick. Stop changing and twisting your opinions so people can agree with you, it doesn't make sense.
Halofighter, you are ignoring the insanely high probability that these opinions are not all being peddled by exactly the same people. Just because a crapload of people said one thing then, and a crapload of people are saying another thing now, why on earth would you assume it's the same crapload? Not once did I say everyone was like that. Did I?
No, I didn't say you said everyone was like that. No need to be so defensive.
I don't understand what you are saying, even though it's opinion, it's clear that sometimes I find that people seem to go from one thing to another without a reason why. If I could explain it I would. It just doesn't make sense if you think Halo 3 is more watered down then Halo 2, it is not. Not depending if you like the game or not. So let's be fair, we all know Halo 3 had less auto aim, less lunge better balance etc. But some people seem to put themselves in a type of denial about this. Quite strange.
The thing is the "people" in question are not the same people. Everyone likes different things about the games. Nobody is in denial about anything. You mention some of the changes which I really like and for me they make the game better. But not everyone holds those specific views, and those were not the only changes made in halo 3. Like halo 2 before it, they fixed up a lot of the negative points of the game but they did make plenty of other changes too and not everyone will like them. So far I haven't seen any one person go from one thing to another and 'flip flop' in the way you are describing - what I'm trying to illustrate is that you are generalising pretty hard in assuming that everyone who complained about stuff in halo 2 are now the same ones doing it in halo 3. Some people like a game and some people don't, for varying reasons. This is a different game and so it will be a different set of people who don't like it's changes. Some people think it's improved (like me) and some don't. It's a different split every time. There's no one group of 'haters' who will simply not like anything, which seems to be what you are seeing.
I see nothing strange about this at all.
