I was just watching Cinematech, on TechTV, and it said that Oni was by Rockstar Games. Any explanations?

The PS2 port was done by Rockstar, and published by rockstar.

Before Microsoft Acquired Bungie, Take 2 had a 19.9% share of Bungie. When MS bought them out, Take 2 received the rights to Oni and the Myth series. At this time, Oni was still incomplete, and when it was released, it was under the Rockstar label, which is part of Take 2.

The opening cutscene still has a Bungie logo, and the end credits are almost all Bungie people. Don't worry. :)

Luckily Microsoft acquired Bungie, otherwise Halo would have been released to Mac and maybe to PS2 only...
