Uhuh, I found that the Halo PC graphics worked just fine on my (non-gaming) computer. The only problem was an effect called specular. I played it through the first time with lag all the way, took this option off and have not been troubled again. But you're probably right, Halo 2 would kill comps.

Right now, Halo2 is ONLY for xbox. But, it is unknown whether they will release it later to PC. For Halo1, it was released to PC 2 years after xbox. Halo2 might be similiar to that, but a bigger factor might be XBOX-2. They are still finalizing it, but some reports are that they will offer 2 versions. One a pure game console, and the second a suped up game console with pc like capabilities. The second one would be able to play pc games as well as xbox games. Maybe Halo2 for PC would be released to coincide with the suped up Xbox-2 release? Xbox2 is scheduled for a late2005/2006 release date. Who can say for sure? Do you think there will be any glitches in Halo2 that will need to be fixed like Halo?

Uhh, no. I'm playing Halo with no problems now thanks to "new drivers"

I agree with Ekul, nVidia just release new drivers for all nVidia chips, If you have that kind of chip you wont have any problems as far as lagg goes.
