"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstien

Derailed? Its still a discussion about what you think of halo2sucks.com, so it isn't derailed. I didn't attack you, I merely challenged the credibility of your opinion, since so far all your doing is proving me right. An attack would have been far more personal, attacking your lifestyle, etc. I didn't attack you at all, nor did I flame you.

All I want is not for you to change your opinion, but merely to acknowledge that you could possibly be wrong.

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

Personnal opinions are not wrong or right. They are opinions.

This is exactly the reason why people from h2sucks have a problem here. They dont seem to be able to grasp that opinions are not factual things that can be proven or disproven.

An opinion is an opinion. But everyone has a REASON for that opinion. Its the reasons I debate. Anyone can have an opinion, but if your opinion is just a random opinion you decided to choose at the time, then its not a credible opinion. When you can explain your point of view with reasons and supporting evidence, then your opinion seems to have a reason behind it. I don't mind differing opinions, its just those who have little to no reason other than just having them

No, but the facts that those opinions are (or aren't) based off are easily proven or disproven. Same goes for their reasoning, idiotic reasoning whether based off iron-clad fact or utter bull-blam!-, is child's play to pick apart.

By confirmed members I meant that along with their idiotic posting habits, they advertised H2S.com and talked about how their community was better than our "noobish" community.

You can easily say "If you don't have their IPs you can't be sure that they're not just spammers who had nothing to do with our community."

You're right. I have no 100% proof that they're from your community. Them saying that they are from H2S isn't enough proof. Here's the kicker; no matter what anyone says, you're going to still tell people to go visit at least, I'm just about done with this thread. It doesn't matter who posts what, your opinion is going to be set in it's ways just like everyone else's.

Why must we bring up an argument that's years old?

Just an inquiry, really. Its not that hard to take 5 minutes and look. Those bad members you reference could have been members, or they could have been non-members trying to sabotage the sites reputation. Same with the spammers who claimed to be b.net members, but from what you said it is far more likely they were actually members.

Anyways, I got what I needed out of this topic, so if a mod wants to lock the topic they can.

If you don't end it, thats fine with me. It just seems like we are going off topic with the definition of an opinion.
