You are not a mistake; God has never said "oops." Seek Him and you will find Him. Do not seek Him, and you will not find Him. He respectfully leaves the choice up to you.
Now this poses an interesting query and several ponderances upon what human beings value, and what truly matters. At first, I would say, go for Halo 2, you aren't guaranteed tomorrow, and building your riches up before you leave this world doesn't make a whole lot of sense - the point of your wealth, no matter how high or low is to use it, not just to have it. What you use it for, now THAT determines your character.
After thinking about it for a small bit, I'd have to say I'd take the $1,000,000, put it in a bank, live partly off of the interest, then fund (and buy a suit of) Nightmare Armor, help them on their way to making Mark VI MJONIR armor (that's myohl-nerr, not muh-johl-neer) perhaps get the guys at Bungie suits as well, free of charge (thanks for the great games guys) and then use the rest to embetter mankind, in whatever ways the big fella upstairs directs me. As for playing Halo 2, I have a feeling that if Bungie were aware of my sacrifice, knowing how devoted of a Halo junkie I was, would find some way to make it up to me (no, not paying me back for getting them their own armor). Can we say, "Halo 2 1/2, custom special Angelic Edition?" (It would differ from Halo 2 in that it would have one more Elite in the last level. That's it. And it would be a completely different game because of it. Totally legal.) I seem to remember a certain someone losing their bag of goodies at an E3 event some time ago, and Bungie sending him stuff, including but not limited to, swag signed by them. All they'd need to do is say that what they'd give me would not be Halo 2, for whatever reason, and since they're the authority on this kind of thing, they'd be right. So, I wouldn't be having my cake and eating it too, I'd be...... uh..... having someone else's cake.... and then eating mine. Yeah. End of post.
