We take a look at what our brave boys and girls overseas are doing
Invade a country, kill some ppl, play some Halo.
Oh Frankie, why did you have to make this game politically colored?
First, of all He [Frankie] did not make this game political. Just by being a soldier an playing this game does not spread hate. Secondly, the article is about how un-life like the game is, and how soldiers use it to escape from their reality [of seeing their friends die, of the hate, the heat, and just life in general] for awhile. I seriously doubt, that the armed forces are going to start putting up HALO recruitment posters. Christ, they have had X-boxs on military bases for 3yrs now, its nothing new. Thirdly, you are reading into it too much. The article is shows how anyone can enjoy HALO. By asking that question, YOU made it political, not FRANKIE. Fourthly, most of the military did not want to invade Iraq, they wanted to stay home with their families, its the politicians that chose that route. The military are just following orders of their leaders, just like you do what your parents tell you, or how I follow the orders of my work manager. Finally, soldiers dont think that way. They dont say to each other, "You know now that we have slaughtered this village lets go play some HALO!" No, they usually go sit in their rooms for 2-3 hours contemplating what they have done, until their Sargeant sees them, and he gets them to call their wife, talk to a chaplain, or play Soccer, Darts, Pool, or HALO, to get their minds off of their jobs. Please don't bring these kind of statement into a Halo Forum again.
Inclosing, I would like to say, "Nice job Frankie!"
