In response to Sp412TAN 717's post on page 1:

If Microsoft ever takes over the world I will kill myself. I mean, look how much Bungie sucks now and they're only owned by Microsoft...I wish the old Bungie was back. Tired of these Bungie-newbies. -blam!- Microsoft.

They're not the only armed force guys who play HALO. We used to set up 12 players HALO every Sunday in my ship (USS McClusky) during last counter drug deployment. The Coasties (Coast Guard) guys were there, too. There was only one occasion when we had 16 player game, not because of lack of interest, it was just because we could hardly find 4 TVs.

I salute my fellow airmen, soldiers and sailors in the front line who standby 24/7 by their aircrafts, tanks, humvees, boats, ships, helos, or even those who are on the fights right now during our 3 day weekend. I'm embarrased because I complain a lot whenever I have to stand duty during holiday, but at least I get to go home after a day.

If they were talking about rpgs as in the war, I would assume the're talking about rocket propelled grenades not role playing games.

RPG's would be the rocket-propelled grenades. You think the SPNKR is fun to play with? Try firing one of those at a LAV and watching the sparks fly...truthfully, video games are one of the best ways to unwind from duty like that because it requires no brainpower whatsoever. You don't have to think, you don't have to worry about what's in the trunk of the next car, you don't have to wonder if you're going to make it until sundown...you just have to enjoy the very precious and rare commodity known to servicemen as downtime. It doesn't come around nearly often enough, and when it does it's frequently interrupted by emergencies and inconveniences. Sleep, food and video games. Mostly sleep.

Well actually, thats not actually true. Halo has made me think more then Long division. Seriously, this is one true strategy game.

>>What are camel spiders? Someone show me a pictures of them, I mean, I'm scared of "Daddy Long-Legs" Soo I doubt I can take it, but Im not scared of Camels, or most spiders, therefore I would like to see one. e-mail jjadgamez_117@hotmail.com If you have a picture!! (Please send your Bungie Nickname so I can thank you in public)

long division isn't quite the same thing as thinking about whether someone is going to walk up to you and blow you to pieces, every time you go on duty. Trust me, there's a lot more thinking going on in hazardous duty situations than long division. I know from personal experience.
