I should visit the community forums more often if theres going to be this many mods active lol

I'm glad the mods are actually replying to and disscussing with you about your opinions/claims instead of just locking your thread

Why worry about moderators when I have Foman to spend hours nitpicking everything I say, and ignoring all the people who have agreed with things I've said?

I guess that means it IS an out of character performance, I don't think anyone answered my question about that before. The overwhelming Mod reply that is.

As an aside, I think all the Mod wannabes are all after one thing, if you know what I mean.

Well, there are the handy dev post tags. All though I'm sure there are people following this thread who want to jump in now and say 'no, we can't have that on the Halo forum, because they would just get massively spammed, and never post again'

That already happens. The icon next to the thread is now a Golden Septagon, because an employee posted.

Just thought I'd point it out.

So when people don't read your posts they are unintelligent and hastily overassuming, and when they do read them they are nitpicking? It's hard to do right by you unless someone is in agreement, isn't it?

As far as "all the people" agreeing with you in this thread, I was not ignoring them. I count exactly six agreements with you in this thread, one by a user on an alt account that is now blacklisted. I was careful to say that "in general" and "by majority," you are finding disagreements here, either with your points or with your posting style in general.

And once again, you do not even take a stab at replying to a post that directly addresses your points in this thread, and instead choose to tell me that I'm "nitpicking."

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

So is he supposed to not respond to the thread at all? He is addressing all the points you have been making. It looks to me like he is doing exactly what the forum is designed for. You are the one who made the topic. Most people are inclined to make post towards you instead of the people who agree with you because you are the one who wanted to discuss this in the first place.

It is kind of like you don't want somebody posting who disagrees with your point of view.

Kind of? Just like Ted Bundy was kind of a bad guy.

That's pretty much the jist of it. Everyone who disagrees with the OP is sanctimonious, ignorant, nitpicking, flaming, spamming or a mod wannabe........and the people who agree with him are understanding, intelligent and courageous.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

What I'm failing to understand is where this thought of Bungie Studios having to include worth-while information within the updates came from. There is no public statement that had been made that compels them to produce these, nor is Frank contractually, or unofficially, obligated to write and submit these.

Matt Soell's vision of the Weekly Progrees Update, which incarnated into what it is today after Halo: Combat Evolved, wasn't some press release for the fans. What it was, however, was an ad hoc program to bring the community and the corporation together. I don't like this thread much because you may be doing just the opposite.

How about how it is the weekly update, and not the weekly ad?

The community is what it is, same thing goes for mods, members, and Bungie in general, they are what they are. I respect your opinion about it all, but if it is really that bad why not go elsewhere?

On a side note, I really liked the rant Pezz.

Right. And if you don't like how your government is acting, why not just move to another country?

Why not? People do this. Thats why there is the phrase "ex-Pats", because they didnt agree with how the country was run and decided to go someplace else.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

As far as moderators go, I have had at least one thread closed for no good reason by a moderator who had a good laugh with his final post, in the arrogant comfort of knowing I was left unable to publicly reply. The fact is I have virtually given up on this forum, because I no longer find it to be relevant.

If you've read the rules, you'd know exactly what to do in that situation. It states right there in HFCS that if you are wronged by a moderator, you report them to a Master Forum Ninja. They will try resolve the issue and if they cannot, Achronos is brought into the situation. If you don't like something, just take action privately with someone who can really help. If you act mature and use good grammar, then you will get a nice answer. They don't just think, "-blam!- the fans," all the time, they do listen.

In regards to not talking about fixing problems, the reason is probably because they don't have a set date. They've confronted the problems, but I wouldn't be getting angry because they haven't set a timeline. It will be fixed eventually, just have patience.

I don't even see a coherent point in this statement. Relating an internet forum to an entire country is an atrocious analogy. To move between countries, you must have lots of paperwork and it isn't a very simple process. To leave a forum, simply stop visiting the one you don't like and sign up at another. It's simply, really.

OP, you claim no one has "answered your question". What IS your question? I don't see anywhere you really asked anything, more so where you were making statements.

Why don't you actually respond to someone's argument with as long a post as people have been giving you? Everybody here has pretty much cut down everything you've said at this point and all that you say are just short statements that provoke longer arguments. We have put our time into making you see the truth, but you apparently are too arrogant to actually listen.

In response to that post, what were they trying to sell us? They were talking about the Great Wall map that earned Lintendo64 Recon armor, Burnie Burns' game "Grifball", some Foundry tips, and spoke a little bit about the next batch of DLC. I don't see anything that they were trying to sell us, so please clarify.

As you can see, I posted a real response, now why don't you write one?

Bungie cannot constantly be putting new things into the update, there simply isn't enough to stuff. So, they put in things relevant to what is going on, like tips for Forge because they just released a Forge-intensive map.

I don't see why you think Bungie owes you something. Did you see all the people complaining Bungie gave them too much information? They said it spoiled the game. If I were Frankie, I would be getting very sick of the complaints, and would just stop putting in any new information, until I was absolutely sure it would be done, and that everyone would like it.

What is the point of an update, if it doesn't update anything? If they want to right pages of text on a rule variant, don't call it an update. It isn't news.

First off, the correct spelling is "write". Second, they updated us on the maps, they had an interview with Burnie Burns and they updated us on the fact that Lintendo had won Recon armor. If you didn't know it before, then it is an update. Now, tell me how much stuff in that update you knew before reading it?

Personally, they are covering the newest edition of the halo maps. They DID come out this week.

Not every update is going to be "we are fixing this, we are working on this."

I am not quite sure what they were "selling" me. The contents are all about foundry and such related subjects.

Personally, I haven't bought the map pack. There was nothing in that update that made me feel like they wanted me to buy something.

More so, it was just, "hey you can do this kind of stuff with your game!"

I have no question.

I like making statements, they make people think sometimes.

The fact is, I only ever get around to this thread when I'm tired, and bored out of my mind.
