Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

This should answer all of your questions.

The steps, thankfully however, still remain the same. Although, you will just have to dig a little deeper as to where it is all located. I would give you a small walk through, but I no longer own a Regular Xbox.

NOTE: I would also suggest you read the WARNING within the thread I linked you to.

I never changed my Windows Live ID. I just want to be able to change the Xbox Live Gamertag that is linked to my Bungie.net account from SHANEWARD18 to CoOkiE x NinJa.

If you look at my Bungie.net Profile, it says I havn't played any Halo 2 or 3 games. But, I've played 650+ Hal2 games and 100+ Halo 3. It changed to no games when I played on my new changed gamertag.

That is where the issue is. To change the gamertag, you must change the Windows Live ID. Your Bungie.net account and 'SHANEWARD18' have the same Windows Live ID account, thus, they are linked. You will have to change the Windows Live ID of 'SHANEWARD18' to 'free' your account. Then, change the Windows Live ID of 'CoOkiE x NinJa' to your current Windows Live ID.

I don't have two seperate accounts to do that. All I did was change my account name for 800 Microsoft Points.

Should I make a new Bungie.net Account with a new Windows Live ID and make my Gamertag have that new Windows Live ID?

My Bungie.net, Xbox.com, and Gamertag have all the same Windows Live ID.
