The fact that my only grandpa died this september, and that i will NOT be getting live for christmas is the most saddening time of my life. I didn't think it could get any worse..
Well today, christmas eve, my parent's friend who is close to me died of heart attack.
a heart attack on christmas eve, killing him. Even worse Matt, his son, told my mom over the phone that he saw the whole thing, and that he was crying. He even punched his mirror he was so upset
somebody comfort me......
Hmm...I look at it like this. Whether you beleive in God or not, do you think that your dad's friend would want to see you sad and torn apart from his death if he were looking down on you from heaven/afterlife/whatever you beleive in that entails some kind of life after death? No! He'd want you to be happy and remember theh good times you had! Concentrate on those, and, if you're a person who does beleive in God and life after death and 'tings o' that sort, then also realize that he is in a better place right now. A place so beautiful the human mind cannot comprehend it.
But, it's much better to move on and remember the good things that happened instead of dwelling on the bad thing that happened. Yeah, it's really sad to have someone close to you die, but you'll get over it, life will go on, and before you know it you won't be saddened by the death anymore; you'll only remember the good times.
