Slow Paced? Only if your in the elephant playing by yourself. (like Barry)

The player movement is slower than the previous halo games. You can't deny that.

Just realize that I am addressing BUNGIE right now.

Then you should be aware that posting on a public board will get you flamed. Wrong place.

Halo 3 was a Solid gaming experience, no more, no less, but as has been said, COD is the same formular under a new hood, i hate games that do the same thing over and over again, its like watching a tv show use the same plot line again and again only with new characters and better gfx.

i havent even been on these forums for months and months, yet not alot has changed, there are still people complaining and stating points that are useless. why are you saying these things? what do u hope to achieve from it. Sure everybody unfortunately has the right to share their opinion... but seriously, why do u have to share it? your complaint are the same formular under a different hood.

You have played the game to death, yet you complain about it. do u honestly have a life? stop wasting it complaing about people who try to do something new, who hae the guts to explore, instead of the recycled trash over again. it saddens me that the people of the gaming industry have a lot of growing up to do, and sure, my ranting proberly isnt helping, but just take a look at what ur complaining about, and is it worth it? or are you really complaing that you have wasted so much of ur life playing this game?

(first game to allow you to edit and play at the same time).

wrong. farcry, including the original on pc, allowed you to play whilst editing maps. however, halo 3 does allow editing objects whilst playing multiplayer

It looks like someone hasn't heard of caveat emptor! Which pretty much means you have little room to complain. You bought a video game based upon your expectations of said video game. How exactly do you feel that Bungie is responsible for *your* expectations? Why am I bothering trying to explain this to you when this thread will be locked shortly? That's the better question...

His and others expectations are there due to Bungie weekly informing us on every detail, making out that it is better than it really is. Don't try and sound superior, by saying "Why am I bothering trying to explain this to you when this thread will be locked shortly? That's the better question..."

Im sick of people desperately defending Bungie for every criticism it recieves. Just man up and stop being so petty

Just realize that I am addressing BUNGIE right now.

i just have to say, that halo 3 has been a huge disappointment. Now, don't misunderstand my tone, I'm more sad than angry and I don't mean to be winy. As a paying customer I have to say that I feel like a sucker for buying halo 3. I realize that there's no such thing as a perfect game but halo 3 could have been so much more. Call of Duty 4 is proof of that. That game as well as Bioshock completely dwarf Halo 3 in almost every aspect. (COD4 undoubtedly). Now I won't go into the melee problem; it's already posted everywhere, but the game just isn't fun to play. (and I'm not terrible at it either so don't pull that card on me). The gameplay is slow-paced and not nearly as dynamic as halo 2. halo 2 was absolutely amazing in the multilayer. the game offers absolutely nothing new (accept equipment and a flamethrower which you can hardly ever find, which suck anyways). this game has absolutely no "Wow factor". COD4 had a huge wow factor to it. Absolutely amazing. The maps suck too. The "remake" of lockout has been utterly bastardized. Gosh the entire game has been bastardized from halo 2. the new pistol is like a fat kid trying to run up-hill. It just seemed like you guys didn't really care about including anything to make people piss their pants in excitement. I honestly feel like you guys (bungie) figured, "Hey, with advertising and false promises it doesn't matter how bad the game is, people will buy it anyways!" This game just seems completely half assed. I'm just totally disappointed and don't see much of a point in paying MORE money for more bad maps. And don't pull -blam!- on me like,"Well your not a Halo 3 expert so you don't know what your talking about" or anything like that. I am completely justified in writing this because I am a paying customer. I realize that there are many people that love this game. Good for them! I'm just sharing what I have seen as the majority feels about this game, which is that it is utterly disappointing.

Would you like some more cheese with that whine?

Halo is one of those rare game titles that got it right the first time and doesn't want to mess with success. Everytime they make a new one they keep the same formula that gave them their success and add to it. The fact that the game isn't revolutionary is because it's the 3rd game in a series that is/was revolutionary. Granted though that some things don't recieve universal acclaim as a good idea.

Call of Duty is a series that is long running and successfull but COD4 is a far departure from it's previous incarnations which is what gives it it's popularity. It's a real departure from what they've done previously in the game but they keep parts that are good.

i agree on what you said abwt cod 4. and for halo 3 i think they just over thought it and messed it up

stick that in your blunt and toke it

Fail. y do people insist in moaning about a game they dont like? if you dont like dont play it! god damm you are retarded!!

COD4 is such a piece of crap compared to Halo that I'm shocked you could say it is undoubtedly better! If you liked the Halo 2 experience, then how can you disparage the Halo 3 iteration, given how similar they are? The only glaring mistakes I can identify in H3 are the abundance of maulers and the melee system, but I think both this points can be and shall be fixed. Even with these problems the game still outstripes COD4 in all respects, with its lack of emphasis on hardcore play (xp for losing?), run and gun dynamic, and unfair convention of pairing high level players with useful equipment and new players with utter garbage. I could go on and on about call of poopy, which I only purchased out of frusturation with the Halo 3 melee system. After playing it for a week I sadly realized it isn't even half the game Halo 3 is in terms of reliance upon skill, strategy, and guts. Gah, COD4... Blasphemy!

My halo 2 stats
Kitsune are often presented as tricksters, with motives that vary from mischief to malevolence. Stories tell of kitsune playing tricks on overly proud Trolls, greedy Recon armour seekers, and boastful commoners, while the crueler ones abuse poor forum goers and topic starters or devout Ninjas.

I'm pretty sick of people feeling like they have to critiscize everything with unfounded irrational arguments that makes you question his or her mental health.
If you don't like the game, don't play it, and don't post on this board, because this board is devoted to people who plays the game for what it is and where people can suggest improvements.
Nothing ever got better by whining about what was wrong without giving some suggestions for improvement.
There are very few threads that actually gives suggestions, and some of those are only : "Do it this way because i know better than all of you others" threads, and those kinda sucks too.

You don't have to like this game, nobody ever forced you to buy it, dissapointed?
It's your fault for not looking into what you are going to spend your money on first, take responsibility for your actions, not everything is someone else's fault.
So either you suck it up like a man and act your age, or leave, noone is going to cry you a river.

HIH

ive noticed that anyone who has not played halo CE, and has only played halo 2 (or played halo 2 first, thus growing used to it) hates or really is disapointed in halo 3.

now OP im not saying this is your case, but many people are like this.

i like halo 3, but it does have flaws

Yeah, I've noticed an overall trend that way too. It's not true for absolutely everyone, but it's definitely noticeable.

Wow, I play the game because every person on the planet plays it. Hey if playing a game that I'm disappointed with means hanging out with friends in other states then I'll play it. I just think that halo 3 had so much more potential and I'm bored with the game. Why do I play it? All my freinds play it and even though call of duty 4 is better, its no fun playing without freinds. And don't give me this -blam!- about buying a game that I don't like. Halo 1 and 2 were incredibly good and with all the hype that halo 3 got, who can blame me for expecting the game to be godly and going out and buying it at 12 o'clock?
