Hmmm... I wonder what it would be like if they had a mode with like 'enhancers' you could pick up thatd make you jump higher and run faster for a short while, such as steroids, and maybe ones that make you melee way more powerful, or ones that help you with accuracy like boost auto-aim for a short while and it would be an optional setting, not default like power-ups. Just a thought, how bout you?

I don't like the idea. It is not Halo-ish.

I'm not even fond of the overshield, healthpack and the stealth module. Since you can't take it with you they become camp spots.

I guess this is why theyd be optional and would be more for fun and would add a duke nukem feel to it, and i agree it would detract from the genuine halo feel of it but itd be a fun option when youve played normal multi for a couple hours and want to real change things aorund a bit, itd make for an interesting KOTH game or oddball. heh

I generally dislike all power-ups, and the Halo 2 E3 2004 Multiplayer games didn't include them. I personally hope they aren't in Halo again.

I wouldnt care if they werent in MP, but my and my brother would make nasty tactics in co-op with the stealth and over shield

Well, maybe there should be an option to have the power-ups or not. However, i do not consider the health pack a power-up, so don't take that out, please!

Power-ups always seemed like a double-edged sword to me, for the person who uses them a lot the advantages are obvious but also it means youll be more predictable in your patterns people just find a nice place nearby power-ups and pistol/snipe those who make a dash for it. It turns into a hot spot and makes getting power-ups more risky.
