1. I understand this, my point is that one of the main metrics is join date, which IMO isnt really fair.
2. No, but I do think foman and cryptic guardian should be trusted more than "HaveaglassofSTFU" and "haveashotofstfu" but thats just me personally.
3. I dont think this even dignifies a response.

1. Join date is one of the metrics used. But it is only one. There are lots of others that come into play. If you can't think of them, well, you're not looking hard enough.
2. So, you think you're more trusted than someone who hasn't been banned for having a duplicate account? Really, I've been looking at the trust numbers generated for a year. They turn out to be a VERY accurate rating... I thought it was going to be much harder to come up with the proper algorthim, but spammers are pretty predictable. This isn't something I just cooked up, it has been a long time coming.
3. It is reward for trust, something not easily found on a public forum. It is not a measure of quality or quantity. If you want to try and place other value on it than what it is measuring, that's your own problem. I'd rather given those deserving some positive reinforcement than worry about stupid cries of "elitism." Half of you think that having moderators is elitist, the other half think your skill at Halo measures your self worth as a person. So, I'm not really going to lose sleep because everyone doesn't get the nod - not everybody should.

#1 And I'm guessing the metrics, judging by your comment "but given that you can't boost this rating" it is based on join dates. The reason is simple, post count can be quickly raised by posting a lot, and there is no other type of content to be judged on, as quality of posting cannot be measured, nor can a karma system be implimented where positive karma is awarded, as there are no features for this, so by common sense, join dates are one of me major metrics.
#2 So this means everyone who, like myself, joined for halo 3 is going to get a massive shaft, for not being here sooner. That sucks
#3 So according to your own post, you made something which is a perk for spammers, but has little meaning, and something which myself and others feel will promote elitism. How is this a good thing again?
Life isn't fair, you don't always get what you want. Although, I'm not suggesting you got shafted. Time spent here should have a role in determining your title. It is often times a big indicator of your dedication to the site. If you desperately want a rank, you've gotten the wrong idea. This isn't some competition to see "who gets what rank."
