Can someone please tell me when 2:00am PST is in Illinois.

Americas school system shows it failures...

You sir are the kind of person who makes america look bad.

Didnt mean to be so mean to you, its just so many people dont know the simplest things like that....I mean its fricken time zones not some hardcore math problem...

If it is 2 AM tomorrow at Bungie HQ, and it is 9 PM in Sydney on the same day, and it is 3:30 PM in Calcutta on the same day as it is in Sydney, and Train A leaves the station 45 minutes before Train B travelling at 100 km/hr, and everything is as it should be, then what time will it be in Chicago?

Hint: 2 + 2 = 4.

Another Hint.

Now, who exactly is it that is making America look bad here?

with out ur hint, i wouldnt have gotten it, im serious, i think im one of the stupid people of america. but im at college, so im happy. haha. that was kinda off topic, but what the hey.

I edited my earlier post but I figure I'll put it here as well;

If you already have 100 maps will it not let you download them?
Will you extend the 100 map limit?

I'll delete some to make sure it works but I'd like more than 100, especially with Foundry.

I didn't realize there was a number of map limit. I thought I had read Frankie say a while back that the limit was as many maps as your hard drive could hold.

Eh, forget it. Let's go play some proper intergalactic football in the year 2556.

Mongeese + Rockets + Flamethrower + Soccer Ball = Fun Marshmallow Treat.

Ok I understand that businesses will do anything for money. I'm not pissed off at the fact the new maps are being priced because its really not that bad.....and plus they'll be free in a few months anyways. However, these maps are nothing more than a standard update to Halo 3. How come we're being charged for map update, but never have been charged a price for differences made to the game or matchmaking? Its the same thing, if you're going to charge for updated maps.....u might as well charge us for any other updates made. Seriously though, how come you charge for one update, but the others like differences in matchmaking don't cost a thing.....look at it this way.....its all Downloadable Content if it gets to your xbox right? rather its updated matchmaking playlists or new maps.

Awesome, I won't be able to download them because of the Fall Update!!!! I'm 17 and I have all family settings disabled but the new update makes it so that no MA content can be downloaded by accounts flagged as "child accounts." There are people that are over 18 that can't promote their accounts that won't be able to download them. It makes so much sense that I can walk into the store and buy an MA game without anybody stopping me but I won't be able to download a simple map pack for the game that I bought.

Oh, "grow up" already... LoL, jk

I know, I wish I could've been more deceitful and lied about my age so Live wouldn't punish me for telling the truth.

I am in the same flippin' boat, hopefully i will be able to download them to an adults account and play em. cause i have bought several M games since turning 17 yet i can't download some silly maps!!!! arghhh i will get around this!!!!

Why should the content be rated as MA+ when halo 3 has a rating of M ..??
Cause that to me is kind of odd...

Anywayz can't w8 for the maps!! =)

How bout this FAQ... when will a patch be released? I'm not buying anything from Bungie until the awful problems with multiplayer get fixed.

You said it buddy, this game plays godawful. I can't believe how inconsistent the code is, what a terrible job. I don't think this game should be considered for any competive play, it's as broken as a game could be. Without consistency, they can't possibly say that there is a level playing field, it's broken in the code. They probably skimped on the gameplay (which is EVERYTHING!!!) just so they could make l337 soccer balls and pretty waterfalls.

I could go on forever, these guys truly don't understand their own game, it's all about the gameplay. For the life of me, I can't remember the last time I was on Guardian and saw somebody admiring the bark on your trees. My gawd, you guys sacrificed exactly what made the game great for stuff no-one cares about, do you really think people are going to be getting on-line a year from now just to play some stupid soccer game? Or rocket race? Or VIP? You think people are going to stay loyal because of some pretty stuff? Hell no! How foolish do you have to be? And don't give me that crap about making the game "accessable" to the newcomers, that's bull, the only hook this game has is the competition, and that is the way it should be, because that is where your longevity comes from. You think I got hooked on this game by playing some stupid rockets? That is soooo retarded. And besides, as far as accessibility, every time I use the sniper rifle (which is one of the weapon favorites, by the way) I think to myself, "yeah, the noobs are really gonna like this weapon, they've nerfed it to the point where only an absolute expert can use it." What bullcrap, I'm not a sniper, so I could care less, but I can still smell the crap from a mile away, you couldn't just dial it down could you? Had to screw it completely. No worries, just be professional and tell everyone to "sack up".

You might be fooling all the 12 year olds you pander to, but you sure aren't fooling me. I don't feel any love coming from ya'll, all I feel is this big middle finger in my face. And it hurts you and me both, I remembered that when I had an opportunity to buy a Halo version of the 360, got the basic version instead. Had a chance to bid on the halo poster at 7-11, bid on the grill instead. Had a chance to recommend Halo 3 to several of my customers as a good christmas gift, never once did. Had a chance to buy a 20 buck pack of trading cards that I thought would look cool in my office, passed up that chance too. Damn bungie, way to inspire loyalty. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a lot of grownups feel the same way. I know for a fact that I am bumping into fewer and fewer mature people on-line, and this is distressing. Bungie and their community both need more people like Iceman Assasin and fewer immature folks who simply don't care.

As for the map pack, well, I'm an addict, I'll probably get that, I just get the feeling Bungie is seriously cutting up the product on us though. If they were coke dealers, we'd all be smelling like baby powder by now...

So, as a poster mentioned, paying for an patch/update is not a bad idea. I could go along with that, the price would be miniscule for anyone for anyone who meets the "Mature" guidelines of the ESRB.

how can you play halo 3 on xbc??? ive tried so many times to play xbc or xlink, it just doesnt work for me

Jason Jones of Bungie famously said of Halo 2 that: "it's Halo 1 on fire going 120 miles per hour through a hospital zone chased by helicopters and ninjas. And the ninjas are all on fire too." As a sequel, Halo 2 couldn't quite live up to that extravagant claim.

Great looks like i have to break out the old silver account to get these new maps. stupid age restrictions.

It's not really new content. It's a change to existing content; they're fixing what they believe to be flawed. Changes to playlists are sort of like corrections. They believe that the playlists should be this way. Also, if they charged for them it would be hard to remove playlists. Plus, a lot of people wouldn't buy them, and it would be harder for people to find games in the playlists. If they charged for other updates, people would each have different versions of the game. It would be purely chaotic. Also, you shouldn't have to pay to make the game play how it supposed to. New maps are premium content that are above and beyond the game you originally paid for.

The Sentinel Beam isn't excluded from Matchmaking due to any performance concerns. It's excluded because it's ridiculous. It may as well be firing super-accelerated clowns. - Shishka

Yup. Absolutely, I will, they will, and several hundreds of thousands of other people will. It only just begins with "the pretty stuff" and it finishes with the kind of open mind and imagination that it takes to create a game environment where you can play any match by any rules that you can imagine, and all you have to do is convince three to 15 other people that your idea is worth playing at least once. Give the community a way to invent and they will do the rest.

You effectively can play Pong, the very first video game that started it all, by using Forge contructs. What better way of paying homage to the very history of the environment which you enjoying the fruits of right now?

I stay loyal because I understand the time, care, heart and soul that these individual designers and developers put into these work products, and I value them, their time and their effort. It is fairly clear to me by reading the FAQ that if Bungie had it their way, they wouldn't charge for it at all. They've gone out of their way in this post and in the press reviews to hint in not so subtle ways that Microsoft set the price and is insisting on payment. Personally, I'll gladly pay the price equivalent of two cups specialty coffee for the six months (or more) of their hard work. I just think that the publisher should get less and the individuals more. Not likely to happen, unfortunately.

I don't share your feelings or your experience at all as I have found the people you seek at most every turn. Mabye you should associate with a group of like minded folks who actually do share and practice the values you claim to find missing from your social network.

You know what really pisses me off. Bungie and the whole HALO 3 team. I dont have some cake job like you guys sittin at a computer all day typing numbers and designing -blam!-. I go to school everyday, studying and trying to make grades. You guys sit at your desks and play this -blam!- game and think that you are something special. The main thing that pisses me off is that you talk so much about some DLC or -blam!- and when its supposed to come out it never does. I paid $60 for your game (which is a flop) id rather play COD4. NOw you want me to pay $12 bucks for some new maps. OK i can take that, As long as there on there when you say they are. Youve been talking and playing them for 3 months now and when they are supposed to come out they dont. BULL -blam!-
In business when you say your supposed to do something you do it. Im really pissed off and so are alot of my friends. We dont get to work in a cushy job like you guys. Yes you work long hours, but its everyones dream to make a game. All we ask if your gonna make them then make them and get them to us when you say you are going to.

So this comes from the deepest of my heart. -blam!- YOU and the -blam!- horse you road in on. No wonder Call of Duty beat you. Everyone of their maps was good.

I tell you what. It does think of some creativity to do this -blam!-. The problem is when should the creativity stop. Ive been playing this game for a long time and the basics is what keeps people here. I never talk to any of my friends and hear them say "man that was a crazy game of soccer we played on halo" no its always that was a sick stick or a nice trip kill. The creativity is nice but the best thing about HALO is the fun of being on a team and wreaking havoc on everyone. So you can keep your -blam!- ass creativity. All I want is some hardcore -blam!- slayer.
