why is it that every time you people suspect a mod has turned in for the night, or left the forums for a while, that you have to go and post spam? its not funny, and it just annoys most people. there are a few of us out there that are crazy enough to support this.

Abrams_Tank. you should be ashamed of yourself. you may think that by cussing out these spammers that they will leave. you are doing nothing to help quiet the problem. by cussing out the spammers, they will just keep coming back and making you even more angry. stop trying to chase the spammers out with anger.

to all forum goers: anyone who spams is just trying to draw attention to themselves. by replaying to thier spam, you are doing just that. giving them the attention they want.

to the spammers: grow up. you are just showing off your lack of maturity to compose yourself in a normal matter in the forums. get off of your crack, or whatever you are smoking, and grow up.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

I have warned Abrams_Tank, I can see that he is angered but he doesn't need to take that course of action.

Are you a new moderator? Or did I miss something? And by the way, AMEN to the stop of spamming!

Well said moonman, however I don't think it'll change anything. Spammers, lamers and any other -ers will keep on doing what they do because of whatever mental/emotional problems it is that they have.

Yoozel just found a way to change his avatar, he isn't a mod.

Yes, spamming is against the rules of the forums, but so is flaming people. Send him a PM next time instead of creating a whole new thread about it. If i were a mod, i'd lock this thread too, seeing as how it has no Halo 2 content whatsoever.

Hey, how about we name Grunts after prominent flamers and spammers. Then we'd all feel better as we waded through them dispatching them with ease!

And how do posts like this contribute? In the end, they add more noise than signal.

Yet, by making a post like that, you ended up adding another pointless message about something that isn't going to change. Moonman's was a little more blunt, but the message was more or less the same. I see that Shishka. . . has his hand in the cookie jar.

Besides, his heart is in the right place.

I'm sorry. . . I did not intend to make fun of anyway. Actually. . . I don't think I ever did. Which friend are you talking about? Shish'ster or Yooze-ya-looze?

Ok, point has gone across, now im sure, by postign this, im somehow adding to the pile of trash or whatever, but here it is: Halo 2 forum, wheres the Halo 2 in this thread? Hmmm. You all have a good point ,whether it adds to the crap or not, but Shishka's is the only one that matters. So there. And yes, that guy's heart was in the write place, too bad his thread aint.

Everyone just needs to remember what site they are on. This is Bungie.Net. Not some place to go run your mouth off. Lets all try to keep things about bungie or Halo. Let's not play stupid games to try to piss others off. Be mature.

Good point actually. The thread should be moved, but what's the point? There's nothing earth shattering here, nor is it hurting anything by being here.

You all have a good point ,whether it adds to the crap or not, but Shishka's is the only one that matters. So there. And yes, that guy's heart was in the write place, too bad his thread aint.
Shishka's is? . . . Nevermind that I guess. But why is he the only one who matters? If anything that seems backwards. He's a mod which means his job is to never say anything interesting, important or fun. He's here to oppress the innocent. . . aka snip/move unnecessary content like a good mod should. I wouldn't say that makes him more important. The interesting people are the important ones on the forum. The ones who make you think, make you laugh, and humble you in an online debate. That's what forums should ideally do. Shishka only shakes fingers, or at best gives cryptic answers to Halo2 questions. Oh well, it's just the way you look at it, and I suppose my view of the forum is something a bit alien to many of you.

" that guy's heart was in the write place, too bad his thread aint."
The write place? Do you mean a writing desk in a highschool? Or is it a cubical? . . . possibly. . . an author's office? You'll have to be specific.

And shadow, the answer is, yes.

Wow, I thought I locked this thread. That's twice in two days, now.

Scipio, if you don't like the way the forums are moderated, you're welcome to take your complaint to Sketch or Achronos. Achronos just recently made it particularly clear that he feels the moderators are doing a good job, though, so I think your case may not win.

If you don't like the rules, you're welcome to leave. If you're going to be smarmy at the moderators every chance you get, I'll be more than happy to show you the door.

“Yoozel just found a way to change his avatar, he isn't a mod.”

*chuckles* Kind’a makes you wonder about reading comprehension.

But Scipio, I think you have the wrong view on Moderators, some can offer input but the busy part of their day is spent saying ‘No, No’ to bad members.

But these are all valid points, and it’s good to see the Underground members picking up on it, this is something you usually seen in the Septagon.
