After a match, an option pops up in the game set-up menu that says, "Even Skill Teams? Yes/No".

How it would work:
The "skill" would be based on kills, deaths, assists, scores, and most importantly shot accuracy (probably the most telling of statistics for a game like this). All of this is calculated during the first match you play online, and this "skill" is saved on your Xbox.

When you play a game and 8 All-Stars are on Blue and 2 All-Stars are on Red with 6 n00bs, this option will even out the teams randomly. We've all played against guys that refuse to be on a team that MIGHT lose. They'll never take the risk. This option will force them to take the risk. Punks.

Pros: even matches, even skilled teams, no complaining about a team being "stacked" and no whining to an opposing player by saying "The only reason you killed me is because you had better teammates."

Cons: you could ge seperated from your best bud if you and him are used to playing as a team. (though discussions with other players can probably manually correct this).

Sounds like a good idea. Sounds a bit of programming ahead if they want to squeeze it in.

That's the rumoured features I've heard about before and highly possible given Frankie's last update. Apparently we're going to get much more detailed reports this time around. Halo2 knows exactly who shot how and with what weapon and all that wonderful information.

i guess its a good option, but there should be a another way to determine it... the skills is good, but the player who most deserves to be able to play with his friend is gonna be whooped off the team to go with the noobs who shoot him cus theyre crap...

i dunno, there shoudl be an option there, but it should work some revolutionary way...

Your way is goos, as just computer randomly selecting teams could stack it... there should be an option where people dont get to choose thier teams, they just get placed on the losing one... (that is if they join during game)

You guys seem to not understand there is no I in team. the better team will almost always overcome skill disadvantage although I see your point sometimes your just on a crappy team then the best thing to do is wait for someone to leave and someone l33t to replace him
