So now I'm a beta tester. Let's see where this goes.

Does anyone know why there is a "report as spam" button on the recent screenshots page? I don't understand how you could spam your own screenshots or what the point of it would be.

Bumping and advertising your own thread in somebody else's is grounds for hitting the button. If you see any infraction you can hit the button to report it. Not just spam. We can tell if it is something else you hit the button for. If it is truly bad though you should still pm a mod.

The button on the actual files and screenshots should be used when you see something offensive or rule breaking in the file itself. Like someone writes profanity or a racial slur use Forge or in the description or title of the file. Moderators don't get file reports, those go to Bungie (as mods can't alter stuff from the game).

This is seperate from the report button in the forum posts for files, which do go to the mods.

So does the button (report as spam) do anything other than alert the moderators to a post's presence?
