Don't push me friend!

Because the Ninjas would have a hard time with this kind of thing. There is alot of forums and so many ninja's. They would be very stressed out approving...disapproving. Understand?

Since I'm assuming the only reason you would happen to be on this page is if you wanted to prove something by taking a look at my game stats, go right ahead buddy.

Halo: Reach

Halo 3 / ODST

Well like I said, I don't know how many "Ninjas" there are around here.

But even that being said surely the threads could hang around in the hidden area for a while until their "fate" is decided? It'd be better than it spamming up the threads we already have, which under this system would be nothing but gold.

...

One would hope.

See what I mean? Buried, just like that.

I know what you mean and it is annoying but then the ninjas would have to be on 24/7 and it would cost too much

We're volunteers who come here when we have the time to spare. There are loads of threads being posted every minute. There's only about 20 of us.

Suffice it to say, I don't want to spend my "free time" approving threads.

Wow you don't even get paid, that kind of sucks. Do you get any special bonuses?

  • 12.08.2007 4:32 PM PDT

Great idea. That way, when someone has a quick question or wants a teammate for Campaign, they have to wait for their thread to be approved.

By great idea i mean possibly the worst idea ever.

Bungie listens to its fans! ^.^ | Ninja .II./ You
RCG: In ur base, steelin' ur flagz. | Watch the demo, then join the carnage!

Stick this in The Septagon (uh, "Bungie Community Forum") - you'll get a lot more, better responses there. [:

The system wouldn't work as there are so few moderators and so very, very many threads...

If you want a quick question, use the forum search function. You want a teammate for Campaign? Invite a recent player or get some friends.

I'm sure "HELP ME I'M STUCK ON CORTANA!! PLEASE HELP!!" threads or "WHERE CAN I GET THE TILT SKULL??" are such fun to have around.

20 Ninja's? Jesus that is low, I expected a lot more than that.

And if you guys are volunteers, shouldn't there be more of you? I'd understand having a low amount if they were paid so that costs of Staff could be kept down. But to only have 20 people when they aren't paying people anyway? 20 people isn't enough for this place. Not even close.

I'm bumping this again because it's the only thread I've seen so far without any idiocy at all.

  • 12.08.2007 7:48 PM PDT

Its hard to get people to volunteer to something if they don't want to do it

  • 12.11.2007 2:18 PM PDT

"Forged in the flames of passion and perseverance. Go forth and represent."

that would take away from the sense of free speech.
you can post what ever you want. but if its bad it gets locked.
simple but i do like your idea.
but it does have its flaws like if someone found a glitch bungie doesnt want you to know about.
but its very important. it will never be seen.
plus they dont have that much staff to sort though the countless posts people make

but there's no sense crying over every mistake
you just keep on trying until you run out of cake

As you are new, I would suggest reading the rules of the forum so you don't get topics locked or get yourself blacklisted. Case in point, bumping is bad, could lead to Death By Ninja, Hippo Licking, or probably just locking the thread. Just an FYI, no flameage intended. And welcome, BTW!

EDIT: spelling

I don't know how many Moderators or whatever there is around here, as I have only signed up today.

One thing I have however noticed is the ridiculous amount of stupid and pointless threads that pop up every ten minutes and bury some of the 'better' threads. Now you can't stop the content that people put into their threads initially, but why doesn't the forum have a system of approval? By which I mean the Moderators, Admins or whatever have to approve the thread to be viewable by everyone.

Say for instance, you want to make a thread about a bug with the Sword or something. You make the thread, then you post it. It should then go to a section only available to the Staff where they can choose to allow the thread to go forward or be deleted depending on the content. So if a thread about the Sword problem has already been addressed, it could be deleted right away and save everyone the hassle.

It would also stop people from making threads like "bubble shield" and then asking "point being?". Threads like that are a complete waste of space and time and we shouldn't have to see them.

Theres over 7000 pages of threads and the likelihood is that theres almost 7000 pages of repeated questions and pointless topics.

It's just an idea, but if you guys like your pointless topics and repeated threads then so be it.

They are even better than police because they help people by relocating things for them and they do it all for free!!!

I'm not sure you'd want the kind of "bonuses" that they get...
