As most of you know, to keep the game balanced, the guys at Bungie have decided that while Dual-Wielding you wont be able to throw grenades or melee attack. While I completely agree with not being able to throw grenades, I was a little disapointed with the second part. However, In a video I recently saw of the Conference Demo being shown inside the E3 04 Bungie booth (The one that shows MCs new binoculars), one of the guys putting on the demo said that by hitting the melee-button you can quickly ditch your left-hand weapon. When he did this, the needler in the left-hand was thrown out in front of him, while it appeared as if his right-hand melee'd at the same time, although its kind of hard to tell. I think this would be a perfect solution. So when it comes down to that split-second decision when your holding two weapons and you see someone with their back turned, you can still bust their head in. Maybe that weapon in your left-hand could even be thrown to a teamate in the process, and they could catch it in mid-air!? What do you guys think?

st, this is so much better than that geeky sounding guy that did it, binoculars......wow, i think that you may only have that when you start out, maybe not.......but cool either way, cause assault player who dont like sniper rifles, will still want to know what the hell is going on on the other side of the map

that melee attack looks sweet, but i dont think he uses the other weapon to melee...

i think they shouldnt... becuase by dual wielding u have to give something up. so u r makign a risk. so melee and grenades are the things u r risking. but u also get more fire power. no melee, no grenades. PERIOD

It only makes sense that he could throw a weapon down when he melees. For practical use in the game I dont know how balanced it would be, but Bungie does, so if it's in there, it'll be good. have faith. But in reality it'd make sense to throw one down and punch rather and pressing one button to drop the weapon, then another to melee
