I personally think that the tracking feature on the rocket will take away from the skill required for using the rockets. What do the rest of you think?

tracking will be ideal for attacking banshee's
and what about tank campers who move when you fire a long range (un-guided) rocket at them
the rocket laucher and sniper rifle are TOO common a weapon in halo and i think they should make them more rare

I agree, it is great for SP but in multiplayer the rocket will be too easy to take out a warthog or ghost when they are in it. Especially (sp?) in CTF, it was always fun be able to track the escaping warthog from across the map and hit them. Making your opponent start to cuss and stuff. Now the skill it took me so long to master has no point because now I just have to get the reticule on the hog and shoot. No tracking or estimating required.

i think the fast ground veichles should have a electronic jamming thing so you can't lock onto them

That would be cool. I was watching the MP Demo and when they did the rocket demonstration I was like, "hey that is cool" then the thought hit me about in actual MP it would make almost all the vehicles useless because someone would get in a vehicle and they would have no chance due to the auto-rocket. But the Jamming effect would be cool.

or the warthog could have a AA flak laucher that blows the rocket up 80% of the time

dont worry the tracking thing will be fine because with the vehicles you can like turn sharp enough so the rocket wouldnt be able to hit you. also the rocket doesnt follow you forever.

that's ok if it doesn't follow u forever, it would be irritating if u were in a banshee and people just locked onto you every time you lifted off the ground

You are right that the rockets and sniper rifles are too common a weapon... but so is every other human weapon in the game. the BR is just like an M16, the SMG is just like a MP5K, the sniper rifle is just like an M82, etc...
