And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Who the hell spends 8 hours+ on these forums?
During Iris, I was on BNet or other related sites for 12-16 hours a day, depending on the particular day in question. Wrap your mind around that!
'

I just did. It corresponds to the time I spent with your mom during Iris.

Gz, I'd kill the whole world for you

3-19-07

Usually 3-4 hours a day, but sometimes that time goes to Xbox Live.

Although I spend 8+ hours on here on weekends sometimes.

Where is the option for not enough? I can't get enough of Halo, and I am always trolling the forums on this account or my other one(Made this account to post forged maps from the Heroic Map Pack due to a long story ending with MicroSoft saying they'll investigate into my account because it isn't able to recognize it has the maps on the console.).

You say tomato; I say potato.

I've spent hours crafting a sing post before. (I use the word "crafting" loosely.)

How many times, though?

I'm sure Foman's whipping one up as we speak.

[Oh, and I spend anywhere from 1 to 8 hours, on and off throughout the day.]

I am a proud user of correct spelling and grammar.

Anytime I open the Internet, there will be at least one Bungie.net tab open (My record is four tabs at once). I'm online a lot, but I don't post as much as I used to, got to fix that. ;-)

So I think Jun's a master chef, because he takes off his helmet and your like whoa, I think he's a chef.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

Who hasn't? I've put in probably about 4+ hours into a single thread.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Six hours on a slow day.

During the summer months, ten hours, off and on, was my normal alotment/

Way too much.

I wouldn't be surprised if the system ignores my "mark as spam" clicks.

Being on a bunch = lots of marks for spam.

I find myself looking at some posts and going "wait, why aren't you in prison? "

I think some people get on here just to troll... Some post just make me think "Too bad stupid isn't a bannable offense."

For example, people claiming that objects with high densities float...

This happens quite often. I have a mental guide of how to post.

1) Brainstorm the topic. Consider each and every possibility and play devil's advocate a bit until you have a solid opinion on the matter.
2) Research all of your facts. This can be done before or after you brainstorm.
3) Read and reread your post. Be sure to edit out the junk to make your post as legible as possible. This is also a good time to use spell checker. You should also strive to use the most accurate grammar. (There is no grammar check, so the best way to get better at this is to read.)
4) Once you're completely satisfied with the content of your post; be sure you copy the entire post to Notepad or Word. I've given up on too many posts because the preview button decided to take advantage of my free buffet of a post. (Seriously, it can delete your entire post, so be sure you have it copied!)
5) Preview your post and reread it to be sure that the post is complete.
6)Submit.

Posts like this can be tedious, but they allow for so much more creativity.

I spend 24 hours a day here. No joke. My girlfriend told me to start paying attention to her or she would leave me so I sold her into slavery to pay for my internet connection to be upgraded so I could browse the files forums a little faster.

I eat purified meat through a straw so I don't have to cook or get up from my swivel chair which no longer swivels because the wheels were used to beat my dog to death with when it pulled out my internet cord.

So yeah... 24 hours roughly.

Depends on whether im working or not, when im at work im usually signed in for a good 10 hours straight. On my days off im not coming on that often or long, i´d say 0-1 hour.

For me, it all depends on how much my stupid job or life get in the way... Since my 360 died last week, neither of those have been too busy, so I've been spending most of my time on here.

I spend at least a couple of hourse on here everyday. But I have been known to be on this site all day or night.

  • 12.17.2007 12:29 PM PDT

On average, I spend about 1/2 hour on here per day. Sometimes I'll be on for an hour or more, though.

  • 12.17.2007 1:55 PM PDT

On an average work day I spend about 6 hours here. Working overnights at a hotel gives me a lot of downtime, so I use it to look through the forums, manage a group, and reply to threads. On my days off when there is other stuff to do like play games I'm only on for about a half an hour.
