Heyyo,
Marty, MarDy, close enough for me-y. :p
Aright, Voice Banning, that's used for games that have ingame voice chat, such as UT2k4, or Half Life Series and any of its mods. Let's say you have some annoying lam0r on the mic? On HL n' mods, hold down the scoreboard button, click on the speaker symbol, and he's been denied. On UT2k4? well... I still have to figure that one out since I only got the game like, 2 days ago, lol....
So yeah, since there's not even voice chat on HaloPC.... I find it really lame, if a game made in the year 1998 had voice chat, but a great game that was bought out for $box ported to PC can't have it? sheesh, they really did release this title just for the cash...
I think for today's FPS standards, ingame voice chat's almost a must. Many new games have it nowadays. One I found shocking is Tribes: Vengeance. Made on the UT2k4 engine, but no voice chat? hmm, some say it's coming in the next patch.... guess I'll have to wait and see.....
Some people will do anything for cash.... at Futureshop, I saw Tribes 2 for sale at around $22 CDN.... when you can legally download it off the net for free since the game's freeware now...... lame eh?
