Now I'm no Halo expert, but I'm pretty sure that camouflage implies that you are at least slightly more difficult to see than before. But not on my computer.
I just got a new Radeon 9250 for my eMachine (2.7 gHz Celeron) and I must say that it is a very nice card. It's PCI, with 128 MB of video memory, and works flawlessly... except when it comes to the active camo.
Now I'm relatively familiar with the camo problems found on nVidia cards, and I am NOT having those same problems. For some reason, when I or anyone else in my game grabs a camo, they bevome very... not transparent. It's more of a metallic silver/blue, with no texture or transparency whatsoever. I've tried forcing different pixel shaders, different resolutions, different texture levels, et cetera. I simply can't find any way to fix it. Does anyone out there have any words of wisdom for me?
