levels are usually the reason for change in yours. If you play with lower levels than yourself, then you will not go up as fast or not at all. I started playing team doubles by myself and looked for a good connection. The next time you are going into doubles, don't have a person with you. I ended up playing against 35 and 38 when I was only a 24, and I ranked up everyother game. Shoot, there were time where after 1 game, I ranked up 2 levels. So being MVP and getting the most kills isn't all the reason for your level change.
If you want to rank up, then check for good connection before you begin and play by yourself. Your freind you might be playing with might be the problem as well. He might be a lower level or high. It all depends on your individual skill and rank. At least, that is how I have been ranking up. I am now a 35, and play with friends from time to time. But not to rank up, just playing around and win. We both know we will only rank up after the 10th or 11th game we have won, and not in a row either.
