Well, alright its kinda at the same time as Halo 3 but also extends past it a little bit. It's called Halo: The Covenant and the main character is an elite named Abu and he has several allies that he depends on including a Jackal Sniper named Jun, an Elite close quarters expert named Codee, and Elite marksman named Salos, and a Hunter pair named Ivee & Zoee.
Some new features that make it different from the first three games.
*It is 1st person but you can switch between any available characers at any given time during gameplay.
*All the weapons that you use are Covenant in origin.
*Abu's primary weapon is a Gravity Hammer, even though he is an Elite.
*Flood can drive Scarabs!
It also explains what happened to MC using a theory that i came up with. In Halo: The Covenant the very last level is on Snagheilios, the Elite home planet. Arbiter, R'tas Vadumee, and Abu have returned here only to have the morining tranquility interrupted by a loud 'boom'. Abu rushes outside to see a rbight blue streak appear in the twilight sky and then dissappear in a ravine. Abu learns that is a UNSC ship fragment and that flood were on it and that they have commandeered two scarabs, the player has to fight these and many more flood forms before arriving at the ship. On the side it reads, "Forward Unto Dawn"...
