I don't think there are litteral ghosts, but glitches in the game that would give the impression of Bungie messing with you. For example, on my other account, I have a video of only me in forge, and shields recharging right beside me. I showed it to a friend on Xbox Live and he freaked out, now he really does think that Bungie is watching everyone. I guess it's all in the eyes of the person watching the event happen.

Man... you got me all paranoid. Now when Im in forge IM going to be worried about bungie spies of doom!

Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

Bungie has a long history of "ghosts in the machine".

The Soul for example, is such a case.

So is Cortana. She is the brain engram of a living being that was "pushed" into the realm of electrons.

So, ghosts? Bungie's been talking to the dead long before they even got a yellow crystal.
What a great post Recon, I'm jealous of its awesomeness.

People do seem to eat up ghost stories in the Halo games. I remember finding the whole ghost of Lockout thing to be pretty absurd and lame.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

I'd have to disagree. While the resulting fury of topics was quite a bit stressing, the concept and evidence, the actual video, not any of the fakes or whatnot, was quite valid and entertaining.

I'm certifiable.

Now I'm tempted to photoshop a "ghosts of Halo" picture from a screenshot of those Pac-Man maps made in Foundry.

-- Steve'd probably blow the 3D-ization of Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and/or Clyde though.
