"Bs: Blame stosh for all of your BS!"

I know online play goes to the PC Halo, but why can't the Halo released for XBLA have achievements and an Xbox 360 Dashboard like normal XBLA games?

It's because it's not an XBLA game. It's an Xbox Originals game. It's the original game, unmodified.

Yeah, but they still should have added achievements so the game would have been worth playing in an extras sense.

Except that's not the goal of the Xbox Originals. They're intended to be no different from having the actual games on disks.

Yes, of course, but what's wrong with adding achievements that don't alter the game, as in, "Completed Level One", "Completed game on Normal"?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Technical limitations probably. They're not trying to remake or port a game here, merely emulate one.

"Peace, gentlemen...
Peace is the ultimate goal of the Traxus Project.
Peace not in our time but in the future.
Future generations will benefit from the work begun here today.
Gentlemen, I give you the Traxus Project"

I agree, though.
They should've had XBL achievements for all Xbox Originals.
The 'emulation' seems hollow without them.
A slight convenience. If my original Halo: CE disc weren't severely scratched, it wouldn't have really been worth it.
And no multiplayer?

I understand what they set out to do, but if you ask me, they should've been more ambitious in the first place.

Emulation is the ability to imitate. Last time I checked, original Xbox titles were without the Achievement feature.

Except their plan wasn't to be ambitious, it was merely meant to give those who had never played these games before a more convenient way of purchasing them.

Master Kim is correct, on both counts. It would not be the "Classic Game" they wanted to provide if they added features. If you're still mad, why don;t you try and recode a game to provide online support and achievements?
