I have played a demo of Mech assault 1 on live, its fun. I think Mech Assault 2 will be good. But my questions on KOTOR: is that the type of game where when you fight someone, its sort of like pokemon or final fantasy? where you chose your moves and take turns? or is it like random, u just walk up to some guy and start hitting? and what type of game is it similar to? more like halo, or fable?
Dude, trust me. Get KOTOR 2. It'll last much longer.
But, KOTOR is sorta unique among RPGs. You get to choose two other party members to come with you, like Final Fantasy, but they also follow you around when you're not fighting and all have unique abilites that you can use while you play. When you fight, you see all the people you fight walking around in the overworld. When you get close enough to one of 'em, the game will pause and it will say "ENEMY SIGHTED!" on your screen. Then, you can choose from this little menu all sorts of different attacks or force powers or item uses, and you can also set them up in little strings--it's hard to explain, really. You need to play it. But it's turn-based like the old Final Fantasies are...where they enemies attack and they don't pause for you to find your moves. It's...well, it's really hard to explain, but it's way fun.
It isn't similar to Halo at all...Halo's an FPS. I've never played Fable, so I don't know what that's like, either. But, KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are unlike any RPG out there. They're a lot of fun, and KOTOR has the best Star Wars story ever (I'm only on the second world in KOTOR 2 so I can't say anything about it yet.). I really do recommend beating KOTOR 1 before you beat KOTOR 2, though. KOTOR 1 is dirt cheap, and by the time you fully play through it, 'cause you're gonna want to play through it at least 2 times, KOTOR 2 will probably have gone through a price drop.
