So I think Jun's a master chef, because he takes off his helmet and your like whoa, I think he's a chef.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

No. That's pretty much just circle boosting in Halo 2. Thanks for that info, now I definitely know that I am never buying Call of Duty 4.

No there isn't.
Why would you want to? I mean, the Service record is an archive for every great thing you did while online. Would you really want to get rid of it all?

It IS as bad as you think and they ARE out to get you.

Por Que?
That is silly, why would you want to look like you never played. If only to fool people.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

In Call of Duty 4, you enter prestige mode, so you're only losing your weapons and challenges because you get a prestige rank so people know you entered it.

That, and ranks don't matter in COD4. They're just there to tell you what weapons you can use. People will swoon over those with 8x prestige, but that really only means that they play alot, not necessarily that they are supremely good.

Well, resetting your service record would take away the point of a service record, but I'm sure Bungie can reset your skill rankings when they feel like it.

How do you reset your service record on COD4? My friend has had my Xbox 360 for a few weeks now and got my rank up to a 44 and I want to start from zero so I can get my achievements on my own. Any immediat response would be greatly appreciated.

Call of Duty 4's "Prestige Mode' isn't a rank reset in the way that you are proposing.

"Resetting" your ranking with Prestige Mode doesn't drop you to the bottom tier of players, it merely sets you in the next highest tier. You can spot when someone is in Prestige Mode, because their insignia is different than the standard first-tier military insignia. The game presumably continues to match players based on their True Skill ranking.

The reason that this system works within CoD is that you can unlock weapons, perks, etc. As Halo 3 lacks "tangible" benefits for gaining rank (other than the thrill of playing equally-matched players), there would be no benefit to employing such a system.

Edited for grammar.

If you reset your service record, it would mean taking away your achievements and armor permutations. Would you really want all of your hard work to dissappear?

If it can be imagined, then it exists.

I guess it would be fun for some people but I would be worried that there would be a lot of normally level 50ish people doing this just so they could have easy games. That could be a problem.
