Wow -- you guys who are talking -blam!- should really do some research before speaking. I've been a FD community member for a while now, am good friends with them all and have nothing but respect for their work. If you do a little reading, you'll see that they are not a "marketing ploy", but a real team who compete in real events and tourneys and have real jobs inside the videogame industry. Yes, they have sponsors -- so does Tiger Woods, Ogre 1 & 2 and ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL PLAYER in their respective sport. That's what distinguishes them from amateurs like, um, well, most of YOU. They are doing really good things for women in gaming and gaming in general, and distinguish themselves from other all-female gaming clans by their personalities and lack of sex-bashing (except Valkyrie, but she did co-found the PMS Clan, so that's to be expected and her attitude cannot be attributed to the whole of the FragDolls). All-in-all, the FDs are not about a battle of the sexes, but equality and awareness, and by trash-talking them you are only proving your ignorance, inexperience with female gamers and fear of diversity. "It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt." -- Mark Twain
Not to mention that they don't compete in Halo at tourneys, but Rainbow Six: Vegas and GRAW -- this Humpday Challenge was a friendly game between two teams of professionals, but in totally different realms of the industry. And they still won one game, nearly two, and could have won the second game if not for that momentary lapse of control near the end.
