It has been over 6 months, Bungie, are you ever going to get to this? I say let us just pick out 30 bucks worth of Bungie swag, since most of the prizes are going to be near impossable to get. I mean I would just like to know if I am ever going to get this?

All of us winners have messaged them MANY times. The mods have and sketch said in the Q&A update a few months back he would send them within a week. 3 months later, nothing. I mean the contest ended over 6 Months ago, that's bad.

I was soposed to get a bungie.net shirt (at the time, the black one was exclusive), a bungie.net hat, and a Halo 2 MC prototype figure from E3. I'd rather get a bungie.net fitted hat, a shirt and a brute and/or warthog. Digging up the prototype would be a hassle when they could just send me a what I listed.

I know Bungie's busy but it's a offical contest and it's taken 6 months and still no prizes.

It is my understanding, but Bungie has goofed. Stosh ment to get prizes from Bungie, but they dropped the ball. I don't know what is being done about this, but you should probably message SketchFactor with concerns. It is the holidays though, so don't expect a reply any time soon.

I think that stosh is still trying to chase Sketch up for the prizes.

I guess they don't plan on sending out the avatar contest prizes...oh well sorry guys. I've sent sketch a bunch of messages about it. He doesn't seem interested. =(

I'll talk to him again after the new year. I'm not going to be online much until about the 17th though...

And the prizes for the "Guess the desk" contest held back on July 7th.

I shall ask Frankie. Soon™

bah

I remember I was supposed to get a prize too. Of course, the best prize of all is being able to use the avatar that I created. That avatar took a very long time to perfect though. I deserve further reward...

A cookie?

Anyhow, the Guess The Desk prizes will be mailed out in the first week of January. Frankie apologises - it's entirely his fault.

You mean that he's not going to blame it on the Webmaster?

We all know the webmaster would throw empty liquor bottles and golf balls at Frankie if he did; I guess Frankie decided this being totally his fault is better than a black eye and glass in his shoes.

How about this idea? Give everyone X amount of instore credit for the Bungie store. It'd be MUCH simplier and we'd all get -blam!- we really want. Maybe a autographed poster too? I don't really mind what I get as long as it's something good. I mean it wouldn't take that long to make instore credits for people and email them the code. I already bought 60 bucks worth of stuff out of the Bungie store for christmas, but more swag wouldn't hurt. I mean I don't see the point of Bungie holding all these contest (few months back there was alot) and most of them the prizes not even being givin out. Remember the moutaindew/halo 2 Clan pictures? The poors guys had less then 24 hours to get to Redmond and they had to PAY for there own tickets just to get 3 hours of gameplay. I mean I would do it just to be at Bungie studios, my friend was a beta tester so I got to play it alot but still. Anyway, if you guys could help to finish this that'd be great. Hell Stosh, I remember asking you about this on xbox live when I used to be in the 7th Column clan, I miss that. Also, stosh, accept my friend request =), I had you on then I took you off by mistake.

The Mountain Dew contest was nothing to do with Bungie. I can understand all your frustration though.

I know they had nothing to do with it but the fact that they let moutain dew pull that bull-blam!- is beyond me.

  • 01.02.2005 8:12 PM PDT

I want further reward!!!!!! Not bannings and ridicule!

My understanding is that their hands were kinda forced by MS marketing.

I haven't heard anything either.. And I was starting to think I was the only one who hadn't gotten my prize yet.
It's that I would mind waiting, but mostly I would just like to know when to expect it, instead of not knowing.

We need to all do something to get at least someone for our work.
If everyone likes me bungie store gift certificate idea..maybe we could go with that.

This is just insane and is getting out of hand.
