I am coming to realize a lot, and I mean a lot of "children" are high ranking individuals on Halo 3. These children probably do not even know what an Atari is. I am a mediocre player, playing maybe 3 nights a week, simply to put these amateurs to rest. These kids will be slaughtered after dark in the world of Halo. I have done my school work and learned how not to go poopy in my pants, so to all you children out there, "GO TO BED AND LET THE REAL GAMERS PLAY!"

I have enjoyed many a conversations with gamers my own age on Halo 3 about the lack of high rankers who have full time jobs and have completed school. We simply join forces and remove the "children."

Note: if my K/D ratio drops it is to be expected, the pre-pubescents have found me.

im one second from taking this to the next level.

Wait, are you upset because kids are better than you at Halo 3, and because of that, you think they should subsequently be removed from Xbox Live?

Note: You were once one of those "children" - Soon they will be your age and talking about the "children" ruining Halo 11...think that over

Your post seems contradictory, are you for or against what he's saying? And furthermore, what is he saying??

just because you have a full-time job and have completed school doesn't mean that you're anything more than a grown up, immature child.

as seen above.

So is the OP planning to post in his own thread, or let it die like it was never posted.

DeviousKilla007, Shogun of The Demon's Hand Clan...

Who cares how old they are? As long as they don't constantly scream in the lobby or act like idiots it shouldn,t matter. I've played with more "adults" who are rude and unsportsmanlike than kids...

Кланяються мені!

i dont like them when they trash talk and suck

but occasionaly when i see one whos descent, even if i find it hard to believe their good, i accept em.

Though i do see kids using words way over there age limit. Ive heard little nine year olds use the F word more than me and im a fully grown adult

Posts like the OP posted really baffle my mind. When i was younger i played games the only difference was the concept for "online gaming" was not out there. This is a new generation of kids, the same as you and I were, just online. Learn to deal with the fact that you are getting older...

Everybody loves the perfect solution
To beat the odds against the poorest possible substitution
What you see is never what you're gonna get
Everybody's playing revolution roulette

The recent child players have become more numorus... I don't know how some of them are so good... but I guess like as earlier posted we might have played halo 1 or 2 and childern so...

You do realize that you just proved his point slightly. I don't compleltly have a problem with kids playing just so long as they are good sports about it. So your a general I know some people who are in those higher ranks who play like garbage. Also don't forget you couldn't go into a store and purchase this game yourself or pay for your Xbox live on your own.

  • 12.21.2007 1:32 PM PDT

....that was such a waste of time to even post this....All i heard when I read this was " I am bad at halo, I am tired of kids owning me, and something about poopy?"

I think there are tons of younger kids that are really good and have high ranks cas they deserve them, and I just looked at your rank...........enough said.

TnTFresh, your response was even more assinine than the point of the topic. Although, I fully understand the Poster's point, Devious hit it on the head. Those kids are learning to be -blam!-s because that's the community that has grown up around Halo. It isn't the kids fault, they are mimicing the actions and commentary of those around them. It's the circle of Life, the growth cycle of human brain function. You want to fix it? Start by simply muting them as opposed to shouting them down. Works for me.

Children will always be better than adults at these games for the reasons you stated. Adults do not have the time, especially these days when parents pay little to no attention to thir children's activities. Often those same children's role models are going to jail to keep up their 'streetcred' or hosting Dogfights or whatever you can imagine. Look around and ask who's personalities they are learning their behavior from, and don't whitewash it. These children playing Halo are the same kids that watch us do everything else in this world. Before tearing them (the kids) down, approach the Adults that are teaching them to be irresponsible social parasites with no compassion or concern for the people around them

Paraphrased: "I am a general I have spoken..."
you aint said -blam!-! General schmeneral, you know what those Stars mean? Zilch, Nada. ZERO. No one is paying you to play Halo, no one is going to throw a party Because you got your 13,000th Sticky, or wtfever it is that makes you sohhhh special, herr General. So sit down and shut up.

Having finished school and getting a full time job to support yourself is all well and good. But it only leads me to say welcome to the real world, sir, your one of several million and perhaps a few billion people in the world to do this now. There are plenty of "kiddies" that will go to school, do their schoolwork and then go home and go to work, and then play Halo 3 and be outstanding at it. Thats nothing to be jealous of and the post you left is a bit immature in itself as well. If your in a situation where you work full time Halo 3 should not be taken as a competitive game for you, it should be used as a social environment.

EDIT: Im 16, does that count as little? I know most of you are in their 20's.

My problem w/ the OP is that he seems to have forgotten that he was once an immature child going through life looking for respect and hoping to be liked by those older than him. Now he posts this ludicrous statement about how children ruin Halo 3 for him. You grew up, they are still young...get over that and play the game.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

I'm 28 i have 13 year olds on my friends list because they have your attitude cowboyfans. I am well aware that 13 year old kids are way better than me at Halo. Its just a matter of ability to log hours, and not all of the young kids have that "OMG I PWN MY K/D SPREAD IZ DFA BOMB CUZ I IZ GENERAL" attitude.

it doesn't matter how old you are, if you have a good attitude towards teamwork and enjoy playing the game for fun, then you are ok in my book.

I honestly think the 16-18 year old kids are the worst because they finally got some pubes, probably got picked on throughout HS and think they are tough in the anonymous world of pressing buttons online

Timendi Causa Est Nescire
-seneca-

why are we arguing about this?
every single person is going to hold onto the very same opinion that they had before they read this post
some people hate younger players, some dont.....big deal
if u dont want to play with them, then dont, just dont go around denouncing them as fools or anything that you fancy them to be.
so you have a job, so....i have a job....does that mean i get to hate people who are better than me?
