if i may add, i feel the OP's pain. I remember when the original Zelda came out, there was no internet. kids played games for hours to discover where level 9 was on the 2nd quest, and that was passed around word of mouth. there were no walkthroughs or youtube videos showing you where the skulls were. everything the older generation did in video games we had to work for.

No we didn't. We played at our friends house, we had "Cheat Codes." We had "Strategy guides" - We were not "Better Gamers" just different...yet the same

I am coming to realize a lot, and I mean a lot of "children" are high ranking individuals on Halo 3. These children probably do not even know what an Atari is. I am a mediocre player, playing maybe 3 nights a week, simply to put these amateurs to rest. These kids will be slaughtered after dark in the world of Halo. I have done my school work and learned how not to go poopy in my pants, so to all you children out there, "GO TO BED AND LET THE REAL GAMERS PLAY!"

I have enjoyed many a conversations with gamers my own age on Halo 3 about the lack of high rankers who have full time jobs and have completed school. We simply join forces and remove the "children."

Note: if my K/D ratio drops it is to be expected, the pre-pubescents have found me.

I started playing halo CE when i was younger than most people who played... my whole goal was to get good enough to beat people like you... your awful...your highest skill is 19... dont get mad cause people younger than you are better its part of life... now go back to work at wal-mart and leave all the younger people here alone...

And I thought that some of the six year olds I play with were immature!
You actually went on the internet to tell the kids to go to sleep, thats a little immature if you ask me.
Do you really think all kids are turds? Or are you just upset that MOST kids can beat you?
oh and I do know what an Atari is so yea. Just relax try to find another time to play, like early in the morning.

I didn't mean to imply we were "better gamers" the fact is we only had 2 buttons to press growing up, now kids are learning on 8 buttons. we always had to adapt instead of it being something you always lived with.

Zelda had no cheat codes or walkthroughs. and thats what i mean about playing at a friends house, everything was passed word of mouth. I don't mean to say it was better, just reminiscing about what we had to endure.

@OP: You're saying that because I'm 14 years old I'm not a real gamer? Is this some kind of a joke? I'm as much of a gamer as you are.

You are absolutely correct. You understand what we are talking about. Good to know there are still smart kids

There are tons of those out there. Unfortunately those are the ones who keep to themselves. The ones who give kids playing online video games a bad reputation, are the ones who are screaming. That is why I don't like the generalization of how all minors are players who don’t contribute to the games already sketchy player base.

I literally have nothing to say about this....I find squeekers to be a tad annoying, but when you say all kids should be removed I must ask, why? Are you jealus?Or just old and hate kids?

no offense

I agree and disagree with this topic.
I agree that yeah it is quite annoying to have kids on Halo 3 act like complete idiots and have high rankings, but the thing is, if they are good, they deserve a high ranking despite how they behave. I have played with several kids that were good and acted mature and I have played with ones that are good but acted terrible, but the same can be said about people my age (22). You just need to get over it.
I remember when I was 5 I beat my dad's high score at Mario Bros on nintendo and he still wont pick up a controller. You cant have that mentality. So you got beat by a kid. Its bound to happen.
Sometimes I think it would be nice if there was a search option for finding matches with people your same age. At the same time though respect shouldnt be seen as required, its a privilage not a right. You should give respect to those who deserve it not those who think cause that they are older it is somehow a right.
I am basically saying dont be a douche to others regardless of your age. Flaming people cause they are young and jerks is dumb, and then flaming this guy right back cause you are young, you are just proving his point. Todays kids are our future douche bags

The recent child players have become more numorus... I don't know how some of them are so good... but I guess like as earlier posted we might have played halo 1 or 2 and childern so...
They proboly found "santa's" bag of goodies.

to OP:
I'm an eleven year old, and I have a mike. Do I use it? no. Do you know why? It's because -blam-'s like you yell at me even if I say "good game." The more common most disruptive players are 30 year old drunks screaming "I am the messiah!"
