He was obviously banned for a reason, Bungie gives you one chance. They don't do forgiveness... Or bits and pieces...

Similar IP addresses, try using a different computer when signing in.

Owners of the Katana: A place for those who have a Katana or over 1000GS in Halo 3.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

Because you have the same IP Address would be my guess, they don't want you to make new accounts.

Ok, this probably doesn't belong here but I don't know where else.

So, this is whats happening. My brother has an account on B.net but it got banned forever and everytime he signs in, I get banned for 2 days by disembodied soul. I've tried to tell Bungie through email but it said there was a problem and it couldn't send it. This has happened to me like 6 times. I've told my brother not to sign on but sometimes he forgets.

I hope Bungie notices this thread so they can fix this or something. Or if any of you know what I can do, please tell me.

i know he was banned for a reason. But i'm getting banned for no reason.

That's probably the reason. Can't Bungie do anything about this?

Read the rules lol

Welcome to bungie, you have no rights, play nice.

no really just block your bro off the computer.

Bungie lacks a reliable way to distinguish you from your brother.

I would try a different computer, like you're doing for this post.

So, you have contacted bungie support, but they never do anything?

I would say keep trying, and make sure your brother doesnt touch Bnet. Definetely very touchy. Man thats bull -blam!-, you gettin banned because your brother is a noob who goes and gets himself banned (nothing personal, im just saying, thats REALLY unfair).

Anyways, yea, keep trying CS. when that fails (or continues to fail), make sure your brother never touches Bnet.

This is the system working as designed. There just isn't a way for us to tell that your account is not your permanently banned brother and that you are niot just him with an alternate account.

Sorry, but voiceprint or DNA analysis is not supported by WLID.... yet.

Apparently, you both share a PC. Is there any way to avoid that? Or to keep him from using Bungie.Net with his account? Do you have to threaten him, or is he the older brother who might kick your ass instead?

Because as long as he visits using that computer.... your account is at risk to a visit from the Soul.

i'm the older one, so I kick his ass. Anyway, he has been using the laptop. So, I just hope he doesn't forget again. I'm really sick and tired of getting banned right after my other one ended.

Yea, i say if he gets you banned again, kick his ass. No, violence should be limited to the pixels....get him into a "special map" you forged and just take made potshots at him. Thattl teach em.

everyone knows the true purpose of Halo 3-

a method of mercilessly kickeing the crap out of each other
and a means of providding endless frustration! (just try team doubles with someone who sucks...)

If you have different computers I can explain how on some routers you can block certain computers off certain sites. lol.
