This thread has been going for a good while now. 100 pages down, plenty more to go.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

Why hasn't this been stickied yet ?

It is. Take another look.

Actually, it's not. This thread is nothing more than a top forum topic, and will most likely remain that way. The stickied threads are more for rules and, as of now, the community projects page. If someone really wants to find this thread, and they're looking under the pinned topics, chances are that they will see it right below.
I guess I am wrong. I always thought of "top forum topics" as "stickied." Works pretty much the same way.

I used to get confused/mixed up between Top Forum Topics and Pinned Topics, but I have it understood now.

Like guitarplyr said, the Pinned Topics section mainly contains Rules and now the Community Projects & Resources thread.

Kiss ass.

Oh cmon now don't start that.
My goal was to get back up to Heroic before this thread died. I was recently banned so it will be a while. Don't let this thread die! I don't even have a prefix haha

I wonder how long it'll take me to reach heroic again. I got it in 6 months...stopped using this account for about 4 months. Started using it for a month, stopped for a month then went along using it again. I've had one three day ban and one warning. Damn this is complicated...

That's all whack. I went from Noble to Senior, 5 years to the day after I joined.

Yeah it is a bit confusing, but the lower on the list it is the higher the value is with the exception of Absent, which i think (don't quote me) trumps all other prefixes.

I've seen a remarkable number of members change titles over night, it feels like the titles are batched.

I was looking over the list, and I noticed that Foman incorrectly posted the titles and order.

They've been updated. Sorry.

I dont see how the activity related prefixes can be listed "higher" than Noble and the ones related to a long membership. It is way easier to become fabled than it is getting a Noble prefix.

This is the order in which I would have put them:

1. Absent
2. Honorable
3. Intrepid
4. Fabled
5. Veteran
6. Noble
7. Senior
8. Elder
9. Exalted

Oh, and good layout, Batzter. I think that should be the correct order...

Does posting in a thread that gets locked affect your "trust rating"? I assume it doesnt, just curious.
No, that would be impossible to keep track of and I have never seen any forums with the ability to do that.

How would you know that? Only the Web Team knows how the Trust System really works.
Because I'm not stupid. I may not know exactly how the trust system works, but I do know how forums work.

You're not completely certain of that either. I would assume that someone's thread getting locked wouldn't affect your trust rating, but nobody knows for sure, unless stated by a Web Team member.

I understand that newly joined Bungie.net members receive the basic Member base title, but where does a basic Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic Member with no prefix fall under for priority order, Duardo?

I'm sure it's pretty safe to assume base titles are greater than a lower title with a prefix. It'd be nice for some confirmation though.

I agree with Spartan_008. For example, a Heroic Member would be a higher role than a Noble Member.

No, I mean where would a Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic Member without a base prefix in their forum title be placed amongst a Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic Member with any base prefix.

If someone doesn't have a prefix, it's simply because they don't yet qualify for one. If a user hasn't met the criteria to obtain a certain prefix, or are tied for multiple ones, they most likely will remain without a prefix until they qualify for any specific one.

As far as 'ranking' them amongst member titles with prefixes, I'm not entirely sure. I would imagine that someone without a prefix isn't necessarily lower 'ranked', but they just haven't met the requirements for a prefix. For all we know, there could be plenty of users out there without prefixes who are actually above someone with the same member title, as well as a prefix.
