Wow, this thread is big.

To stay on topic though, any guesses at when I will hit Mythic again?

Your accounts older than mine, yor PDD is higher than mine by far, your gamertag is linked and you in loads of groups. How did you loose your Mythic? To be honest you should really have it now. So i'd say anytime soon, best bet would be your accounts birthday in Febuary.
That is probably a good estimate, I have been switching between Legendary and Mythic for a few months now.

Well after your 4th year mark hopefully it'll stick with you!

Who the hell do you think I am?

It'll probably be around January of next year that I get mythic, so I guess I'll just have to get used to this title for now.

My Mythic seems to stick with me. I guess that is a good thing.

Some people only have a certain amount of trust points to reach Mythic if I recall though.

I've never lost a base title. Sure hope it stays that way.

While I don't have any titles at the moment, I wish you could choose your prefix instead of just getting the highest ranked one. If I had a choice, I would choose Noble over Exalted but Bungie always puts Exalted first.

Yeah, loads of people would prefer to choose. I'd rather have Veteran (1 and a half months to go) than Fabled anyday.

Yeah, I miss Veteran when I realize so many people have Intrepid. I would rather be unique. Intrepid and Fabled are just too common.

According to B.Net Achievements Exalted is the most common prefix. If I could have any prefix, I would choose Elder.

That may be, but it's certainly not the most common for people who post on the forums.

Yeah, probably all those people who just came for the stats and never posted.

Or people who prefer to chat in groups than the forums.

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's the rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again

I gained Heroic?

Well, i'd rather still be legendary but it's all good.

Indeed. However, you do have your account linked, a high PPD and your account is almost three years old. The only thing holding you back is likely to be your moderation history. If you avoid further warnings/bans, you could probably reach Legendary relatively soon.

I wonder if I'll get Legendary soon. I intend to try linking an Silver account when I do reach it again, to see if it boosts me up to Mythic, or at least gets me significantly closer.

Your account is nearly 7 years old, i'm suprised you haven't got Mythic now. Theres two things that might help;

1. Yes, linking a gamertag will help a lot.
2. Try posting a little more in the main forums, your posts go back to January 2011!!

How heavily does moderation history weigh on your title? (I used to be legendary)

It depends on how many Bans/Warnings you've had in total. If you've had one or two then it won't effect you much and you could regain your title within a few months. If you've had loads of bans you could have to wait 6 months +.

I wouldn't mind finally having a title on this account. Doubt it'll be anytime soon though.

Why is Heroic such a large gap? "1-12 months".

Also, does never signing out count as not being active? I know signing in everyday etc helps but what if you never sign out? o.O

I doubt staying signed in does much to affect your title, I always stay signed in on my computer.

It seems to have quite a large impact on your base title. Members have gone from Mythic to Members after a ban, before going straight back to Mythic when the effect wears off. Typically, bans appear to affect members for 3-4 months, but it can vary depending on the length of the ban, your activity before and after the ban etc.

I did consider posting more, but I do generally post as often as I feel is necessary. It also doesn't help that I live in the UK, so by the time I notice a lot of threads, the question has already been answered, or my point has been brought up, and I try to avoid posting for the sake of it, or if I have nothing new to add.

I'll provide a little information and see if you could offer some insight.

I had a 3-day ban in August 2010, a warning in December 2011, and a permanent ban modified to a 3-day ban January 2nd 2012.

I've heard that even if a ban is modified, you retain the resulting penalty from it, is this true?

From my understanding, unfortunately, yes. That perma is going to way on your title big time. It could take a long time for you to see any change with your title.
