Why can't we put Bungie Cards here?

I just received another warning and yet I am still Noble. This is odd, maybe it will update on my next post (this one).

EDIT: Nope. I am confused. Is the Disembodied Soul (and a mod) trolling me?
Maybe Noble only counts in bans. Or check tomorrow. What happened that you got warned :( Play nice homie! <3

Edit. From the OP: 3. Noble - Active member of 2 years, with no bans for at least 1 year*

Noble is only concerned with bans. Exalted takes warnings into account.

Izak, I think that would be pretty cool, and solve a lot of problems.

Ponderously: Perhaps I, at least, should start doing it more often. I think I've brought it up before. So many problems with people taking others too seriously or not seriously enough, etc...

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Ehh, I think we'd end up sounding a little too similar to the Hanar.

The warning was for something stupid, which I'm not going to go into, basically "Incorrect forum copping" when I told someone who posted a video in the Community forum to instead post it in The Gallery.

EDIT: I guess the moderator considered the video a Fileshare item when I thought that because it was a Youtube video it would be considered something different. Meh, my mistake again.
Oh well, I guess we all make mistakes. Sometimes it is best to rest before posting what you think is right.. imo.
Yeah, and I understand why a moderator would dislike people making mistakes like that and sending somewhere incorrect from an already incorrect place. But I'm annoyed that I took the time to explain the BBCode URL formatting to him and then get it all edited out of my post and have a warning. Whatever, it made me angry.

I can see why you would be annoyed at something like that. At least it was not a ban =)

[cough]Elcor*[/cough] Yeah, that's where I got the idea from...

It is possible to commit no errors and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

I've been inactive for a while, and don't post on the main forums often. But somehow, my profile maintains its mythic status. Yet when I start posting again in the main forums, it quickly demotes me to legendary... It's not a big deal, just can't understand how that works.

It happens almost without fail, too. I won't post for a week, come back, post once or twice, and then it's gone. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

Anyone else ever have something like this happen?

Oh how the title system confuses.

Probably...

Perhaps every time you make a post, the title system updates the user's trust rating; taking the time-frame between your last and current post into account, and updating accordingly.

It's a sort of a similar scenario to bans. A restriction is put on the user for a specific time, and then once the user comes off the ban - and makes a post - their title can quickly transcend into something other than member (particular with members with higher titles).

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, Someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have.

Warnings don't effect the Prefix Noble that much, I got 2 warnings and was able to keep Noble.

Back when I was Legendary, I got a warning a little afterwards and I did not lose anything. I am guessing that little warnings for stupid reasons have no effect on titles.

After getting coup,(and being banned upwards of 20 times,) you seem to stop caring about your title...

Eeyup.

Apparently Coup 5 won't work with the next website update so don't get too attached.

The lack of a title is making mah sad. I was actually flamed for the first time by someone in the Flood the other day! I'm sure this was because I didn't have mah Legendary and they thought I was somewhat new.

Why are the nameplates so volatile? There's never a clean transition when ranking up. I always dance between two for a month or so before I solidify in the higher one. It's weird.

It's really is odd. I've been jumping from Honorable Member to Honorable Heroic Member once a week. Just pick a title and stick with it dammit! Hah!

OT: How accurate is the "Noble" description? Will I be getting it on my profile's birthday or a year after my last ban (6/8/2011)

Nothing is dependable. I'm a long-term member who was inactive for a few periods of several months. I am also a member of the didn't know I could relink a new gamertag with my old profile group who made multiple accounts and lost a lot of bungie.net history from an account that was deleted. The Honorable will show up around the right time as long as you're not going inactive all the time.

It kicked in, and now I am Legendary again. So, how long is a warning supposed to take to wear off, around a month or two? That should coincide nicely with my fifth year on this site.

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

From what ive seen some members recovered in about 2-3 weeks of consistant activity.

Thanks, these kind of things usually take longer for me as I loose the urge to post because I feel that everything I say will somehow be against the rules. This lasts for quite a while...

Yeah same, that warning will wear off pretty quickly, I expect you'll have Mythic back next month some time, maybe by the end of Feb?

Yeah, that is why I usually take a rest from posting sometimes. Sometimes I like staying on late, but now I usually stop posting really late. Rest is most important!
