Posting has a huge effect on how I go down from Mythic. I imagine it is the same for any other base title.
I imagine that activity is a huge factor until a certain age kicks in, say 5+ years or something, then the activity requirement may drop slightly.

I'm just assuming this as I have seen "old" Mythic with less activity on the mains and yet they still have Mythic, whereas those of us who have just recently gotten Mythic loose it easily.
I think also, the longer you have a title such as mythic, the harder it is to lose it.

That logic makes sense. I am inclined to believe it.

Keep posting, and you will probably be Heroic in no time at all.

Probably get Legendary shortly thereafter as well.

MONGOOSE

I know... not very creative...

I was last banned in March 2010, and was clean until a few days ago, when I got a three day ban... Any chance I'll get back up to whatever I was before, which I think was "Noble Legendary" or something?

Also, the ban expired 2 days ago, but I'm already back to Honorable. I was pretty bummed about my title loss, but how long will it take to get back?

It usually takes about 3 months for the effects of a ban to fade away.

I believe that Achronos or Duardo said that this thread will be eventually locked because the amount of posts will cause glitches within the thread, but I'm sure that if it were to happen, another thread would be created.

You're missing a key part, replace the word "because" with the phrase if and when. Even if there was a certain amount of replies that causes the topic to glitch, how realistically could we reach that amount?

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

I heard it was four months, mate?

Roll the dice, try again.

I have a few bans and have been a member for a while. Any telling on when I might rank up?

That depends if you are active, and had any recent bans.

I lost my Legendary. :(
Yeah and my Mythic is dancing again. I hit my 4 years in 6 days so I don't know what that will mean but for now I'm rocking the Legendary. My PPD is like high too which is weird? Titles be confusing me like all hell.

Mythic left me this morning. =[

While I was doing some research for the new Title Talk group which was created after the discussion in the previous couple of pages, I think I may have found something that was posted by Achronos and linked to in the op of this thread that might help explain why several members all might lose their title at the same time like in a situation similar to this.

Posted by: Achronos
Specifically - the system is a relative ranking. That means your ranking changes based on the maximum possible score, as defined by the person with the highest rating that day. So, if the max value changes, your title can change, especially if you're on the borderline between one or more levels.

Keep in mind this was posted in 2008 so I apologize if this has been said to not be the case any longer.

Nevertheless, my theory is that the reason that all of you may have lost your title is due to a jump in the days max trust rating making all of you trust ratings relatively lower.

Okay, thanks I had a feeling I might have been wrong, but thought I should just post what I had found anyway. Sorry if I misled anybody with my post, it seems I was mistaken.

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

I've had Heroic for quite a long time and I haven't gotten Legendary yet. It might be because there were several long periods where I was totally inactive. Recently, I've been on the forums a lot though.

From my experience, long periods of inactivity have little effect as long as your title never goes to absent. Once you start being active again it seems that your progress picks right back up where you left off.

Of course you could have maybe made some progress in that missed time, but from what I can tell, you are not loosing any progress that you have already gained.

Ok then. I guess I'll just wait and see if I end up getting Legendary eventually.

Just do your best to maintain activity, even if it is just logging in daily, and posting when you can, you will receive Legendary eventually,

I came, I saw, I conquered. On my quest to become Mythic. So all can be jealous of the amazing blue glow from my title bar. =) ~BlindChild~

I've had the absent title a few times once was because I went dark before reach came out and another when the site went dark for the new game their working on I think it was in September. I didn't see any reason to come then so I took a break.

Probably get Legendary shortly thereafter as well.

I got Heroic for the first time on the 1st of February, and I've got bumped up to Legendary already.
Edit:Damnit, back to Heroic.

Your still legendary, but yeah, I hate when the system is being stupid with the titles.
