Is it just me, or has the title system been acting up lately? It seems as if users are randomly losing their titles more frequently.
I think what is happening is that a lot of older members are staying while Bungie is dark, and they're not as active as they would be if there was a lot to talk about, so many of them are not meeting the activity requirements for the titles. Meh, just a thought. I lost mine because I stopped being as active as I had been for a week (had time off and nothing to do), and because I was bad and got a warning.

Heroic's only about two or three years away.

Thank you for sharing. Just kidding, you'll probably get it in a year or less.

If anything, I will have to agree. I have been seeing this.

Heroic is a really competetive title. 3 days is plenty of time to loose it.

When? I don't know exactly. Why? Some people are super crazy active when they first join the site and get the Heroic title extremely fast.

Just a quick question.

In your opinions, do you think that creating a thread vs. replying to one yields a different trust output, or do you think they are equivalent?

Also, do you think replying to your own thread yields less trust output than replying to another thread?

  • 02.21.2012 8:22 PM PDT

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

If anything, creating your own thread would probably bring the same amount of trust as posting in one, but the number of replies your thread would have could probably contribute towards the Intrepid and Fabled titles (as well as how many threads you've made) and possibly your base title too. (for a short time) Where you reply shouldn't matter.

Timelines or criteria are usually changed when Duardo is presented with evidence contradicting what had been previously theorised. I have only seen one person reach Heroic in < 6 months; and that was some time in mid-2011. I don't know if it was due to that reason, however.

I couldn't really put my finger on what I think. It'd make sense either way to me, so I guess I just think of it as plausible.

I think creating a thread will grant more trust, almost every time I have turned Mythic it has happen a day after creating a thread.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I just got Legendary and I very rarely make threads so I don't think there is really much of a difference.

I'm not saying its the only way to go up (I rarely make threads myself), just pointing out that the majority of times I have reached Mythic I made a thread the previous day.

Well, this has to be the first time Mythic has sticked for me without posting late. I guess that is a good thing.

If you become active a lot again then it'll come back pretty quick.

I'm reading a lot of post about why they lost certain titles or such. Here's my response to you all who lost their title or rank; Be active again, post more, don't do stupid things. The more you post with good positive comments to everyone (That of course not derailing or spamming), the better. Sooner or later, by following my advice, you will soon grant yourself your old title back, or better, a promotion to a newer title.

That is all I could say.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I wonder if i'm due for mythic any time soon. That 3 day ban i got about 6 months ago isn't helping i'm sure.

It's the opposite for me. I've shot from Member to Legendary in less than 3 weeks.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

If you're good, you might get it earlier. Your account is only 2 or so months younger than mine, and I'm a Legendary. I think you'd look good in Grey.

Still doesn't beat my record of less than 48 hours.
