I don't see why the trust system would reward you for a diversity of posting locations considering that doesn't, from a logical standpoint, actually increase your trustworthiness.
Me neither; but I wouldn't be surprised if it has many seemingly unrelated metrics such as that.Very possible, but I feel like if anything it would be things that are very vaguely related to trust.
For example, maybe an employee posting in your thread increases your rate for a day because if an employee posts in it you must be doing something right. (That's not my opinion. It's just a contrived reason I thought of.)
Or, perhaps, the starting of a private group that gains 100+ members and then 1000+ or something like that because if that many people are joining your group and not leaving (unless it's a spam group or something silly like that) then, again, you must be somewhat trustworthy because if you can manage a group competently you're most likely not as immature as Joe Twelve-Year-Old who joins and gets into arguments about the DMR in the Reach forum and CoD v.s. Halo in the Flood.
While those are both unlikely, I think they accurately represent possible avenues for alternative metrics used in the trust-system.
Edit: I was going to say that WHAT you've been banned/warned for could also affect the rate at which your trust-earning is decreased but then I realized it's just a personal message from the Ninja to the offender as opposed to a report filed under some sort of drop-down-menu list of offenses.
Unless that is what is done, but I'd be highly skeptical of that as Ninjas have revealed (what we believe to be) all of their "tools" to us in the past and you'd think especially if someone like Duardo had more information on how trust-earning could be hindered he would have mentioned it here.
