Without me, it's just "Aweso".

What does it mean? I am Honorable Member, what can i do with it?

Usually means you've gone a few months without a ban, while being semi-active.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

Well, with that and 50¢, you can buy a newspaper.

From what I, (and plenty of others), have seen, members usually get the "Honorable" prefix for the first time after being here for one year without any bans. I've known a few people who have gotten it a day or two after their one year here, but for the most part it's obtained after one year clear of any bans.

It seems as if my theory worked. I went up a title in a day :)

...could have been a coincidence.

Priority Order for Title Prefixes (in order from lowest to highest)
(Priority comes into play only when a user qualifies for more than one member title)

1. Absent
2. Honorable
3. Veteran
4. Noble
5. Senior
6. Elder
7. Intrepid
8. Fabled
9. Exalted
Here is a question for everyone. As mentioned above, when a user is qualified for more than one title the higher classification is chosen. Based on this tidbit of information which title do you think is the least widely held? and why?

Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

*Crawls out onto a tree branch*

I'm going to go with Exalted, as it is, in that list, the last one. Meaning it is the hardest to qualify for. I may be wrong, but it makes sense I guess.

Although you always see more 'exalted' members posting than 'senior' or 'elder'

Why can't we put Bungie Cards here?

Thats because senior and elder members often qualify for a higher title.

And i would have thought that Absent would be the highest, if you have been inactive for 6 months doesn't that automatically change your prefix no matter what it was before?

Out of that list what surprises me the most is that I see few "Veteran" members. Obviously not many people have the senior or elder member titles because you have to be here for a long time, and the only person seen to have the elder title is Bungie.net member number 76, Reiginko.

It might be, but you'd never know. Any posts of Absent Members would be from six months ago. If they posted today, they'd rapidly lose that prefix.

You lose it instantly, there is some delay where your title flickers between absent member to whatever the system calculates you to be but it is almost instant, I have tested it.

I can attest to the as I was absent for some time. And when you return you do not gain instant titles. At least I don't remember it that way. I was a member for about a day, after I posted a bit I was ranked up, and have slowly risen to my current rank over the past few months.

I used to be Uber Active, then I left the site for some time. I've been back for 3 months or so now and just got to my current member title. Taking this into account I believe Absent members can rank up faster than a regular member, depending entirely, on their activity and rating before they went inactive, and their rate of activity on return.

If I was elder, well I would feel like a grandpa.
Elder makes you feel ancient. Ancient sounds pretty cool for a prefix too.

I would guess your activity from your entire time of membership is factored in. That and just the total duration clearly has an influence.

Good to see at least somebody takes this place seriously

I am sincerely disappointed in everyone except JIMH. JIMH, have a gold star.

',:\ IF YA SAHMELLLL

Anyone have any idea why the prefixes are relatively stable, but the titles are changing constantly?
