Alright, I have a simple theory yet I found it a bit difficult to find the right words to say it so please bear with me. My theory is similar to a Karma System.
My reasoning came from reading ***Trust is calculated daily, which could be a reason as to why member's titles change.
When you join, you have 0/1000 "Trust Points" or TP(bear with me on this). As a new member, you must earn "trust points" in order to rank up. Say a month of good behavior (no bans or warnings) gives you 50-75 points. A year of perfect behavior alone gets you 600-875 "trust points". A month of report free posts/threads gives you10-25 points. A year of all legitimate posting will get you 100-250 points. Now, recognizing the fact that it takes about a year to a year and a half to become a Heroic members, a year of perfect behavior and legit posting gives you 700-1150 total trust points, just enough to become a Heroic member.
Now,once you reach 1000 "trust points", it increases to say...2250 "trust points" required to become a Legendary member and then 4000 "trust points" to become a Mythic Member.
For a thread being reported, you lose 50-100 points. For being warned, you lose 25-100 points. For being banned, 100-500 points depending on severity. Inactivity for a month will cause you to lose 25 points. Complaints will cause you to lose 25-100 points depending on severity.
Chart
Titles:
Member: 0-999 TP
Heroic Member: 1000-2249 TP
Legendary Member: 2250-3999 TP
Mythic Member: 4000-5000 TP (5000 is max)
Earning TP:
Good Behavior for a Month: +50-75 TP
Legitimate Posting for a Month: +10-25 TP
Losing TP:
*Reported Thread: -50-100 TP
*Received a Warning: -25-100 TP
*Banned: -100-500 TP
Inactivity for 1 Month: -25TP
*Moderators/Administrators Receiving Complaints About You: -25-100 TP
* Indicates a method depending on severity.Okay, so I understand the trust system and the theories now, but I'm still not impressed.
Can anyone give me any types of advise or theories for ranks like Honorable[/b], or[i]Exalted? I know it has to do with bans, obviously, but I'm still a bit confused?
