Romanticize? You can do better than that.
I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about, now.

People prefer age-related prefixes because they are much more rare.I'm sorry, but you cannot say that you speak for everyone, especially me.

I know several exalted members who prefer to have their veteran, senior, and elder prefixes back. Its quite evident in this thread.Of course age related prefixes are rare, because users should have learned how to follow the rules by then, and naturally, Exalted takes priority. I prefer "Elder" to "Exalted", but not because I think the requirements are superior, but because I just like the sound. But I believe Exalted is a greater prefix then elder, based on the requirements, which is the reason why it takes higher priority. Besides, users already have proof of their account age.

I'm not saying I'm speaking for everyone.

But I'm telling you now that I'm speaking for both of us when I say both of our opinions are incredibly biased and therefore, meaningless.

Hopefully you can understand without further explanation.

Sorry, I thought you mean to when you started your sentence by saying "people prefer".

But I'm telling you now that I'm speaking for both of us when I say both of our opinions are incredibly biased and therefore, meaningless. Why are you trying to discredit anyone based only on titles? I haven't even taken note of your prefix. And neither do I mean that I'm better for having my prefix, as titles are just that, titles. I'm only trying to explain why I believe and agree with a cartain prefix taking priority to the other.

Hopefully you can understand without further explanation. If that's a jab at my intelligence, I feel as though we're mistaking each other's tone in this conversation. Sorry, I apparently lack the skill to write my posts carefully enough to avoid such a misunderstanding.

Woah...Im not intending to discredit anyone's title. I mean, in the long run, no one is better than the next. I apologize for the miscommunication.

I understand.

I mean, in the long run, no one is better than the next.I agree with what you mean.

I apologize for the miscommunication.Nah, it's way too easy to misunderstand someone in writing. And it's easy to be inconsiderate when writing or saying something, enough to be justly interpreted in an unintended fashion. No language is perfect.

I believe his trust was so high that even when he became absent he still had enough to stay Heroic.

Fairly certain that it's a very rare case.

Damn Shishka and his Uberhax abilities! I wish I had seen that earlier, he was probably higher then heroic. Oh well.

Pretty sure he was Exalted, but he was definitely Mythic.

I want my senior prefix!!! Couple of more months hopefully

  • 08.14.2012 11:15 AM PDT

Unless you get Intrepid, Fabled or Exalted you're just about on track for that Senior status in a few months, methinks.

I want Senior too. Screw Intrepid.
I won't get Exalted though.

I see you posting enough that you may be hit with Intrepid out of surprise, but you seem to be on track for Senior as well. That warning hurt your chances for Exalted obviously but it won't do too much. It will have worn off completely in 3 months' time.

I got a ban in march. Exalted isn't going to happen for a while.

Bad boy! Tisk tisk! Yeah, your chances are all but shot for Exalted in the future. We don't know what the title system, or the site for that matter, will look like in a few years.

For now, your trust rating is probably dancing around a bit and the trust you need for a Senior rating is probably there for you. I wish you luck.

November '09 for me, Exalted might just jump up and bite you sooner than expected.

Out of interest, just how rare is my title 'Exalted Member'? Four years, no bans and never hit heroic seems surprising. I have lurked an awful lot though, so that might explain it?

"If only, if only,"
The woodpecker sighs,
"The bark on the trees was as soft as the skies."
While the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely;
Crying to the moon,
"If only, if only."

I want Heroic. I don't post too much though, I wonder how heavily the account age factors in.

Exalted Member isn't really looked at the same as, say, Exalted Mythic Member. At least I'd imagine it to be that way.

The way I look at it is that an Exalted Member has done a lot of lurking (your post history goes back to 2008) and therefore it is quite easy to not get banned only posting ~200 times in 4 years.

For someone like me (not tooting my own horn here) who happens to be lucky enough to be an Exalted Mythic Member, it just means I am active more in the community in terms of group memberships and activity and I've been able to not be hit by the banhammer because of the functional brain I have ;)

That or you're short a sense of humour and have never bothered to test the edges of the rules? ;)

Makes sense, my trips here do tend to be when I get a little bored and need somewhere to kill a bit of time rather than continuous investment in the community.
