Posted by: im am b0red.You've been complaining how unfair your ban was for far too long. You've posted in here numerous times on how you'd be this if it was for that, and how no matter what, even if the thread is spam, if you reply on-topic nothing should happen to you.

Any reply to a spam thread, regardless if you're breaking the rules or staying on-topic, is spam. Sometimes carpet bans are necessary to get it through people's skulls that they shouldn't respond to those types of threads. When you reply to a spam thread, it pushes it to the top of the page, causing others to post in it as well, which means that because of that posters actions, others will get in trouble.

Now, on to your thread.
Subject: Enemy Nuke Incoming!
Body: "Flood, keep it classy, or you may get terminated."
Spam is when someone posts something that has no discussion value. The rules even state that new threads should encourage discussion. What was your thread discussing? Nothing that i can see. You were banned for basically not creating a discussion thread, which means that it was spam.

If you ever are banned again, the appropriate way to go about things is to message the ninja that banned you and discuss it with them. If you want to discuss this ban further please PM me, otherwise, leave it alone.

ooga booga boooh

So I just picked up Mythic, which is odd. I've been a member here for 4 years, I get that part. But what I don't get is that I've been banned numerous times, and have very lengthy gaps of inactivity. At one point, I wasn't here for around a year, give or take. Even recently, I've only been back to the site after a few months of being gone.

Interesting to see how the title system has worked for me. Or, I'm not sure if it did work in my case. Just rather odd I received the title I did with (I'm guessing) around 5-8 bans, and around 1.5 years of inactivity, on and off.

Over time the bans negative effects wear off completely, your account age helps a lot. Congrats though.

Yeah, sometimes it just works out. No one gets the system, that is why there is a thread over 1,000 pages on it. Just be happy with your Mythic.

I tried, many times. It only works when the ninja responds. I see your point though. I'll let it be.

I second this. I know a guy who repeatedly gets banned, and recently got off a month ban, and on that same day, he got Mythic. I've only had a couple bans, and I'm still waiting for my week ban to wear off. I've been waiting over 16 weeks. >_>

This title system is harder to figure out than women...

I still can't believe that we've been at this for years and we still don't have any clue as to how the hell it works. Rather impressive.

It's funny, Helveck is flickering right now between Member and Fabled Heroic. This could be hilarious for his thread.

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

I wish, I knew my trust rating... I am a legend again. It only three days of signing in, and then a couple of posts. I think 15 posts.

:)

It's all based off activity...

For new members like me it will take a couple months to achieve Heroic. But for older accounts it will take less time to attain a title. Even if you post once per day, but sign in everyday for a month or two on an older account you will attain some sort of title.

That is interesting. You are the biggest scrub I know ;-)

This also proves my point about the exalted prefix. You've been banned numerous times and have still acquired the "highest" prefix.

Lets play some BTB now!!!!

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

I predict that by the end of September I shall have my legendary back.

I only had heroic for 1 month, but I am a heroic again so if the trust rating doesn't spaz out I should have my legendary back in time at all!

Well, I guess my last ban, from looking, was well over 3 years ago. I guess all my bans were benign bans, or something. It's just weird that when I've been gone from the civilized world my title never went down. I was just gone for around 3 months or so, and I stayed Legendary. I came back, made one post, and shot right up. Interestingly, I'm staying there. Any time this ever happens, I've usually gone back down because there are more members who have longevity over me.

Check your inbox, sweet cheeks ;)

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

I received Legendary (for the first time) about a month after I hit Heroic.

It's surprising how seemingly random that title system is.

If I were to be away about a month at a time with maybe 20+ posts when I would get on, would my base title go up, just my prefix, or neither?
(sorry if the question has been asked before, just didn't feel like reading through thousands of posts before asking the question :/)

I doubt anything would go up. MAYBE you'd get Heroic, but that's it. Age related and ban related prefixes would still apply though.

So maybe after a couple years I'd hit Noble or something around there, but probably not any of the high titles?
