1 Year - Heroic Member, Honourable

I haven't been here for exactly a year yet, and I've been a Heroic member for about a week now. Even thought this account literally missed 4-5 months with no activity whatsoever, it seems that I've gotten Heroic anyways.
2 Years - Legendary Member, Noble
3 Years - Mythic Member, Exalted

To get to Legendary and Mythic mainly depends on activity and logging in every day along with being an old member, as I would think. But, your theories with the Honorable, Noble, and Exalted prefixes seem correct.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

I was going to say, I've been here for nearing 2 1/2 years now and I just got Heroic. Then again, I've gotten a few warnings that have taken me back to plain old member status for contributing to quote pyramids : /

Same here, although I was an Honorable Legendary Member. I've never gotten banned, although I did get falsely banned a couple of weeks ago which contributed in taking me back to Member. My ban history is clean though, as it got altered and shouldn't be considered a ban that had happened at all.

I didn't think they altered your ban history, even if you were banned by accident!

It's been stated before that they cannot rescind a ban whether accidental or not. It's just unfortunate for those that are accidentally banned.

I'm thinking it's "Associated Press of Pakistan". I don't know, but that's my best bet. : /

An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it.

So let me get this straight..

I've been around since early 2005, therefore from join dates I've seen of other Mythic members I should also have said status.

But I was banned once for my foolishness back in 2007 and now I seem to be stuck at my current title. I have been nothing but an exemplary member since then so I don't seem to get why I'm not an Honorary or Exalted or even a Senior member at least?

Does posting in Private groups modify your trust rating? If it doesn't, then that may be it. I've recently come back to posting in the public forums after about a year of being the the private sector of the site.

Keep in mind I'm not angry about this or anything (it IS just a title on a website), I'm just having a hard time understanding why I'm not 'ranking up'. I've been a longtime fan of Bungie and have been around for ages and would just like the recognition for being here so long.

Posting in Private Chapters will not modify your trust/ title at all. It is assumed that there is a limit for how many Mythic Members hold that title at one time, estimated at 200 at once. I recommend keeping your PPD high and avoiding any further bans and you'll get it eventually.

Thanks for the help. And don't worry, after being banned for my mistake, I am much more cautious and intelligent about what/in what threads I post in.

Don't want to feed any trolls now. :)

Posting in PG's does help your title.

Really? It doesn't effect my PPD, and my title hasn't gone up any faster since I've started to post in Chapters more often.

That's just a theory, as it's never been stated yet to be officially true.

Where do you check your bans or warnings and also do Forum Ninjas and Master Forum Ninjas attually work for bungie, so they have to declare that they are working for Bungie Studios and I was just wondering, do Ninjas have Bungie Chest Armour

The only way to check for a ban or warning is if you saved the private message that was sent to you after you were warned or banned, other than that there is no way to tell.

Forum Ninjas do NOT work for Bungie, they were asked to be ninjas and do it in their free time. I believe all or most have Recon, but no flaming head, the flaming head is exclusive to Bungie employees only.

I have a question. So my brother used to be a Heroic Member, but he received a 3-day ban out of "Feeding Trolls". A stupid mistake on his part, but he tends to do that. ; )

Anyways, since it is only a 3-day ban, will it not take as long to get his Heroic Status back? He was sorta bent over yesterday because he lost it, but he will get it back, won't he?

Thanks

~ Agent

He should get it back soon. 3-days are considered warnings, and therefore don't have as much of an effect on one's trust as a longer ban would.
