I've never been big on community badges, rewards, titles and all that but here at B.net I actually respect posts made by the longer term or "special members" to put it one way.

For note I was banned twice for the same thing, a reinstated longer ban if you will, but eventually I still made it to mythic. Just in case anyone wonders what happens when a ban is reinstated and made more severe in terms of your member progression here at B.net.

You've been here for over 6 years. Your age makes 2 bans (especially if they're old) unimportant.

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

Something I'm curious about...

Does the trust rating take into account length of membership? I've been on this site over 2 years and only just reached Heroic, but I only have 1 warning (and 0 bans).

I'm curious as to why it's taken this long, considering I'm (mostly) consistently active. I guess it just comes down to the fact that no-one knows precisely how this system works, apart from Bungie's web-team.

Length of membership here in the forums? Yes, I believe it does take that into account.

Yes account age is factored into your trust rating.

I don't understand it either. I've seen other members get heroic after 6-8 months on the site. It took me about two and a half years to get the heroic to stick.

My advice is to not even think about it. Its something we will never know the truth about. So why even try to figure it out?

I can't believe that senior is not Mythic...
Meh. Hopped right back to Fabled Legendary just a second ago. I'm sure it'll go to Mythic again shortly. I give it two weeks, tops.

WTF? I understand Fabled but Legendary??? That quick? What the hell bungie where is my Heroic then? lol
It was only a 3 day ban and burrito's trust is super high. Obviously.

All I got was a 3 day ban and I go two months (maybe more) with no Heroic! This whole "Trust Rating" thing is bull--blam!-...
I love you bungie, but what the hell lol

No offense, but up until a few months ago I had no idea who you are. Now I easily recognize you. That probably means you weren't consistently active (thus making your trust lower). Burrito I have known/known about for 5 years. I have a great memory, and it is blatant that his trust is higher than yours.

No offense meant by all that, just want to clarify :)

Yeah.. I think I should have been Mythic by now, but I can hardly hold onto Legendary.

A better question is, Is my trust higher than burrito's?

When was the last time you were banned and how active have you been since 2007? Burrito has been around since 2005, active very consistently.

Fabled and Intrepid (I assume) have nothing to do with amount of trust (as long as it's positive). My guess would be his is still higher than yours, but only Superusers know that ;)

ATTENTION MODERATORS. My latest ban (14-day ban from Qbix89) is not legitimate, take a look for yourself. Please review this before considering me a "repeat offender". Thank you.

I have been a somewhat-active member of Bungie.net for two years (my account birthday was exactly one week ago). I have only had two banned, and not that it matters, but they were both "carpet bans". My last ban was less than 11 months ago, last year.

Why haven't I at least received one type of title yet? My older account (now retired) was a Legendary member and four years old, yet it received plenty of bans in its lifetime (please note that, no, I never "bypassed" any bans with this account, and I am not doing that as of now).

Just curious. Thought I would take 3 minutes and post in this thread.

Why? Easy.

You haven't posted since April (not including the sporadic posts you did in July, August, etc). You will not receive Honorable until a year has passed since the last ban.

You probably had Legendary with the other account because you consistently posted with that account.

Burritosenior will end up with a much higher trust rating fairly soon; where your actual trust ratings are right now doesn't mean very much.

Something I've been thinking of here. In the OP you have this link of Achronos saying game participation is linked to trust rating. Seeing as how Bungie no longer manages Halo, your trust rating can no longer be affected by playing. However, through Sneakernet, you can still update things such as Reach armor and emblems. Could it be possible updating Reach emblems and armor through Sneakernet also somewhat affects trust rating?

I always took that as Tom alluding to the fact that having a linked gamertag helped with Trust Rating, but hey, maybe there's more to it than previously mentioned.

What you said. I remember Bricypoo, I think it was, unlinking his gamertag once. He instantly went from legendary to heroic. I think it's having an account that exists linked. Not sure if ever logging in to any Halo games ever factored in. Some players have a no history, so I wonder if that affects it.

Achronos said "game participation", not specifically "changing emblems" nor just "linking your gamertag" in that particular line of thought. And he has multiple posts (and confirming replies) that support the idea that, literally, playing the game is a metric that raises your trust.

Haha, reply number 32323. :D

Banned in march. Lost mythic to a warning 5 weeks ago.
