There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

I was given the intrepid prefix yesterday, and I don't qualify for anything else. XD

That's what I call dedication.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

I found it weird that after i came back from a week of inactivity i was promoted to honorable member. I think it may be possible that if you have steady activity for a few months and then take a week off your chances of promotion will increase. This is just a theory and is probably is incorrect, but who knows?
Well, the honorable prefix has to do with a clean ban history. If you are inactive, you can't get into any trouble.

I gained my honorable prefix 2 weeks after i was banned?

You get ranks back faster after being band because you rebuild your trust rank. Also, when you were banned, did you go to normal member status?

Two of my friends earned their Heroic and Legendary titles today. Same day. Odd isn't it?

I've talked to a lot of members here who have admitted that they aren't terribly active on the forums, yet their prefix infers that they are. The conclusion that we came up with is that they probably just don't qualify for any of the other prefixes (due to a ban or whatnot) and so they are stuck with a prefix that doesn't accurately reflect their forum actions. You may be in the same situation here, but as usual I'm not entirely sure.

If they don't qualify for any prefixes, then wouldn't they just not have a prefix?

Yes, but I meant that they don't qualify for a prefix that is an accurate representation of their forum actions. Instead, they qualify for a prefix that is of lower priority, but it's not an accurate representation, so they automatically obtain that prefix.

You're right though. I'm pretty sure that members who don't have a prefix are members who had a recent ban, and they don't quite yet qualify for a specific prefix.

I believe that he should be John 11:7, not John 1:17. As proof, I created a thread to discuss this. John 11:7

I was once an Honorable Heroic Member... I lost the Honorable for no reason (seriously).... then, I created an illegal thread and lost my Heroic status.... worst day on B.net ever... the 7 day ban wasn't that good either.
Oh well. I'm back to keeping it clean, and I have my Heroic status back.

Quick Question:
Does having a higher rank give you more weight with your reports?
I mean, does a Heroic member reporting something mean more than a regular member?

Weird. They must be too frightened of you to take anything from you. You know how a dog gets when you try to take their food.

No, there are no special privileges. Titles are too dynamic for that. They're just for looks.

If I report your post, a team of highly trained monkeys will break into your house and kill everyone.

... anyway, no, having a different title does not give more weight to one's reports.

Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said could never be done.

Ok, I have been here since 2007. I should have some like, Veteran status. I also finally got my Heroic member back after the site update of 2008. I think. I would be Legendary, but nooo.

My title prefix changed today from Honorable to Intrepid I'm not complaining at all I just thought prefixes never change only base titles.

You get the highest prefix that you qualify for. Intrepid must be "higher" than honorable, and you just qualified for it.

They're just titles, not ranks. You shouldn't be taking this system seriously whatsoever.

You'll eventually get your Legendary status if you become more active (I don't know if you currently are.) and keep clean from any bans in the future.

Speaking of bans. Have you gotten banned pretty recently, or at any time in the past, to be more precise? That may be why you're only a Heroic Member, and not qualify for a certain prefix.

I don't get it, I've been a member for nearly two years and I'm still just a regular member.

Then there is the guy above me who has only been here since 2008 and he's and honorable heroic member.

Well yeah, but I really doubt that there are people who haven't been banned at least once. Besides by banns have been stupid, such as for using memes.

A ban is a ban, and it always has the same effect on your trust rating. I'd be more careful and wouldn't post too much if I wanted a better title.

I have no bans. It all depends on when you got banned. They have a lasting effect well after the ban is over.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

Yeah i'm more active than 90% of the Bnet users but i'm a regular member, simply because i got banned a few times a while back. I don't cry about it though it is my fault after all.
