If there is an influx of new members to the site surely the system would allow for more mythic, legendary and heroic members??
Just a thought.
;D
Perhaps the member titles are a percentage?
Thats what i was thinking, if they were then we should see some members increasing in status perhaps??

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

I figure I'll change to "Noble" in a couple of weeks, but Mythic is probably way out there. Are there any Mythic members that have onl been around for 2 years. I really don't think so.

Although it will be interesting to see if there are any changes after ODST is released!?

No, you Honor me.

I just *facepalm*ed the system. I've been here 4-7 months longer than you three, and the only time I went to heroic, was before the site change, and then I went to "Honorable."

I was thinking about updating the original post. Any ideas?

Also, what have we learned (criteria wise) about how to achieve each prefix?

I have an idea that joins the "sub-titles" to the Heroic, etc. Let's say that w% are Mythic, x% are Legendary, y% are Heroic, and z% are regular. Now let's say that w+x+y+z=100 members, and z>y>x>w. w would be around 2, x would be around 16, y would be around 32, and z would be around 50. Now let' say the member count doubles, thus those numbers would double. So then your member title would be effected by the following things:

-Bans/Warnings
-Post Count
-Times you've reported
-Latest post
-Join Date

:-:Now if your latest post is within 1 month, that value is at zero. If not it drops by 1 every day.

:-:If you receive a warning or a ban, that value is lowered by 15 to 30, depending on the severity. If not then your value goes up by 15 each month.

:-:If your post count is in a certain range, then it varies, based on what it is.

:-:If your join date is within 2 years, then your value is at zero, the longer you are here, the more it goes up

Now the best of those values then goes towards what your prefix is.

When all of those factors reach a certain number, you get "promoted" to Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic. When they fall below a certain value, you get "demoted" from Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic.

These are all just theoretical numbers.

If this isn't clear, I'm sorry. Just ask a question and I'll try to explain it better.

Would my theory on prefix values and total members count towards what level(Legendary, etc.) count? It's on page 140.

Be active, don't receive bans or warnings, and you will be on your way. I received Heroic rather easily myself, but then I lost it a while alter for reasons unknown to me...

Honorable - No wanrings or bans for 1 year.
Noble - No wanrings or bans for 2 years.
Exalted - No wanrings or bans for 3 years.

I'm 99.3% positive that's true.

I think I should be mentioned in the OP somewhere.

Weird. Somehow, anniversary dates matter. You see people's prefix change on the date repeatedly. Maybe it is something like "member for a year, with no bans in the last six months."

My anniversary date comes in a couple days. The 26th. It will mark me being here for 1 year, and 2 months.

I think honorable is a member for a year, noble member is 2 years and then exalted member is 3 years with no bans/warnings.

It isn't exact (the ones I am more certain of are in bold) but it is approximately:

1. Absent - inactive 3 months
2. Honorable - No bans/warnings 1 year
3. Veteran - Member 3-4 years
4. Noble - No bans/warnings 2 years
5. Senior - Member 4-5 years
6. Elder - Member for 6 years
7. Intrepid - High post count
8. Fabled - Very high post count
9. Exalted - No bans/warnings 3 years

Heroic: Active 9 months - 1 year
Legendary: Active around 2 years
Mythic: Active nearly 3 years

Not yet, but I expect we'll see some early '07s becoming Mythics before the year is up.

Remember,
It is easy to be male
it is another thing to be a man.

Hmm i got my honorable before my one year anniversary. perhaps my 'trust points' influenced that.
